This will make most components plug and play, but for most subwoofers, you will still...
Same here. I been using a local metal place to waterjet stuff and the occasional Plastic stuff but the 3d printer stuff is so affordable to get into. Wish it did metal.
I have been having issues figuring out my 3d printer and it's settings. Lmao. I enlisted the help of my in-laws to print it...
I fought my $100 increase (XL, with Co360, 4k and manual window) I told them they either give me the price before the increase or I will pay it and give them a negative Ford Review after purchase along with a negative review on Google with photos of my signed contract. The caved in after that...
bro this is amazing. So far I’ve had mine sitting in the glove box until I found a solution. YOU are the solution. Lmao. Yours came out fantastic too.
Feel like making another one? 😬😬
This looks so incredibly badass. I say get some fender flares though or some mudflaps, my setup is not quite as big and the amount of chips I have already is insane.
This is fantastic. I like this idea alot. I will definitely be copying it to mount some other things I am installing back there. Wonder how this will do with vibrations. I have had mixed success with using JB weld on stuff that shakes or vibrates.
Actually speed governer is 109mph. I was on some new access road by where we have windmills at. Absolutely not a soul out that way except sheriffs. see below for proof 🙄🤣 MPG was also abysmal at this speed. I think i glanced at like 8mpg.
And promptly 10 minutes later... First ticket in 15...
no, the amplifier itself takes too many amps. The factory wiring is not capable of providing enough safe power for the amp. For the lowpro 10 Sub I have I had to use 8 Gauge wire. I actually ran 4 gauge from the battery to the behind the seat and am using a power distribution block to give power...
Also a quick note for anybody doing this. I would recommend against drilling anything into the ribbed panels behind the seat. Those screws will end up poking through in the bed as that is all that is separating the passenger compartment from the bed is a thin piece of sheet metal.
Somebody can...
I have received some DM's about my panel. Below are the materials I used.
1/4" MDF from home depot. They sell them in 2'x4' sheets. They're about $11

Here is what I did with my lopro 10. It's a place holder as I want to test a couple of these units before I decide to build a box.
I used the following mounting points.
I got the LC2i for future upgrade ability since I do want to build a box for behind the seat later down the road. It also gives me the ability to add a smaller Amp for the rear speakers since the LC2i pro has both Main output RCA's and Bass output RCA's, in the case that I decide to Bi-amp the...
I just bought switches and I actually bought the switches that have the Active cruise buttons since I plan on installing that down the road once I figure out the harness situation. I def recommend just buying the correct switches that are in the DIY guide so it's less of a headache for you. The...
They harness for the Kicker key is short so it’s mounted behind the glove box. Working on some brackets now to make it permanent.
The Lc2i harness reaches all the way to behind the seat so I have that run underneath all the trim on the passenger side To the back.
