By application I mean spraying the entire car down and wiping off for protection. How many times can you do that per bottle? I wax my vehicles with paste wax once a year, every spring. The dishsoap doesn't appear to strip the wax since the water still beads up when washing.
I've never used the ceramic spray, but a quick Google search shows most popular brands are about 20bucks per spray bottle.do you know how many applications are in that bottle? I use mequires paste wax. At 9 bucks per can,I've waxed our maverick twice and there is at least 2 more applications left.
Thx for the breakdown. Not saying paste wax is superior, just saying one wouldn't be able to tell the difference at 10 years which vehicle used which. And, paste wax is much cheaper.
Curious why you say it's a crime? The only crime is the extra cost of the ceramic spray. Paste wax is about 3 dollars per application and ceramic is about 50 dollars per application. If you compared 2 identical vehicles after 10 years of using each the they would look the same.
Yup,prepared! Lol. And the paint on my 16 year old ram,in Michigan it's entire life still looks new after washing with dishsoap and waxing with paste wax, typically once or twice a year.
I think towing is supposed to benefit from premium, but we tow a 3100 lb boat and I have never used premium in the 3 years we have owned our maverick. Not needed i.m.o
I also use paste wax. Costs about 5 bucks to apply.i do it once a year. I can't imagine paying thousands of dollars for the new ceramic coating treatments over a few years.
Our 23 came std with it.never had it on a vehicle before, thought it would be nice to have.have not use it in the almost 3 years we have had our maverick.
Yes,seems like you don't " have " to have it taken care of but if its an issue down the road ford will repair it for free. That's the way I read it anyway.
