You finally said what I couldn't come up with!!!! It has a nautical theme with the orange trim everywhere!!! I'm in a truck!! Not a boat!!! Not that I am in love with the brown but I could live with it easier.
For some reason I am not impressed with heated seats...not a big deal to me despite cold Ohio weather. I just could not bring myself to get the "Lux package" with the orange trim everywhere. It just looked tacky to me.
I ordered the Lariat because I just could not stomach the "orange trim". That just did not sit well with me. I plan on using seat covers eventually but that orange trim just didn't grab me.
Going with the least expensive in truck tonneau covers,at least in my experience will leave you disappointed. I prefer hard top with adjustable opening and lockable. Stays dry(even in rain and snow. Nothing ever stolen. My favorite brand is the LSII cover by A.R.E.
99% of the people I talk to have no idea of the Maverick truck. I agree that a Super Bowl ad would change that very quickly. we certainly need something fun to talk about in these times!!
I agree with all the comments. This was on my list of possible colors until I decided to be weird and go with Area 51. I think Cactus Grey will be nicer than you think. Even if you don't like it when you see it,I'll bet you will have no trouble selling the Maverick very quickly on your own!!
It was a pleasant surprise to find out about the Maverick and I was not in a rush at the time I ordered. What is the point of altering your order? I ordered what I wanted and am willing to wait to get what I want. In fact just a half hour ago I got a call from the Dealer and he said my order...
I have used the A.R.E. hard top tonneau cover on my F150 since the late 90s.It locks, has adjustable opening, and keeps everything dry. I like it a lot and plan to get one for my Maverick. Best of all it matches the body color of the truck(if that is what you want).
Completely agree!! While they were so busy eating Oreo cookies, they should have been thinking about what they were actually working on and what it is that us "folks" see when looking at a new product. Believe me I could care less about how Oreo cookies played a part in the creation of the Maverick!
My first Ford...1978 Ford Mustang II paid $3,500 brand new!!! Then both my '96 and '04 Expedition. But the best of them all was the 1989 Taurus SHO(stick shift),it went fast and I never got a ticket!!
