  1. What's your Maverick's name / nickname?

I'm proudly boring. Depending on the context I call mine truck, or the truck, or a truck. 😐
  2. Too many miles on my brand new 2025 Ford Maverick?!?!!

Mine had 18 miles on it. Out of 36,000 miles? It's nothing. My girlfriend would say; "But did you die"? :ROFLMAO:
  3. Seat gap filler

    Bring back bench seats!
  4. Weird looking engine space (2.0L)

When I picked up my 24 Lariat Eco boost it had 18 miles on the odometer. The gas mileage was awful for about the first 500 miles. I drive off highway for about 98% of the time and get 24.8 MPG.
  5. Oil is cheap. Engines are expensive [LOCKED DUE TO INSULTING BEHAVIOR BY OP]

That's BS. I've run my 2009 Mustang hard, tracked it and file to change the oil prior to 9000 miles many times. It has over 150,000 miles and drives like new. Very few engines toady fail at 100,000 miles. You're trying to scare people with wives tales to get them to see things the way you do. NOPE.
  6. Cover on top of engine missing?

I purchased one of these over a year ago. And I'm truly an old guy. This has been presented many times. You should have done a search for engine covers and realized that before berating a class of people. And I do not need your respect.
  7. FX4 package

Electronically controlled limited slip does not suggest an E-Locker or a physical limited slip. The brakes are applied, left or right, based on detection of wheel slippage. The brakes are taking advantage of how an open differential works. Oh, and it works.
  8. Price increased as of January 27, 2025

Because we can afford them and want them. Our rationale for a purchase may not meet your expectations. Go suck a lemon. ;-)
  9. 2024 intake valves

How many Mavericks have suffered damage, even minor, from LSPI?
  10. 2.0 hp drop

You might want to read through this topic in other posts. Engineers are reported to have stated no loss in HP with GPF.
  11. Fueling

"I highly advise to wait tell 3000 miles to do the first engine oil and filter change. The oil that should be in there should be break in oil. That's the reason I would refrain from changing it earlier than 3000 miles." Ford does not put break-in oil in the Maverick.
  12. Lifting 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid safe for CV joints?

How would anyone on this forum know the answer yet?
  13. Tailgate Assist Question

I believe you don't get it. Has nothing to do with weight. NOTHING!!!
  14. 2025 Window Lock - Not locking windows

The confusion comes in because you said this: " but the windows still operate from the drivers switch and all of the other independent switches."
  15. 2025 Maverick Owners - Windshield Tapping/Rattle?

Did op state that they had the problem? I didn't read it that way.
  16. Door Locks Automatically

Ford tries, but can't protect people from themselves.
