  1. Dang squirrels chewed through wires!

I have two plug in ultrasonic devices in each garage. Purchased on Amazon. Device claims it will work for rodents, cockroaches, and other things you don’t want in your home or garage.
  2. Scheduling on 12/8/22 For All Production Weeks Through January 30; Same Constraints

Have you seen the spy photo of the plug in hybrid Maverick driving around Dearborn. So there is hope
  3. Dang squirrels chewed through wires!

I Feel for those that park outside. I built an additional 2 1/2 car garage, so all four vehicles are protected. Try one of the ultrasonic rodent devices.
  4. First Parking Kiss... argh

It was a Buick, watch for those Buicks, mainly older drivers. I too qualify as an older driver, but always watch out around Buicks.
  5. Maverick Scheduling Week of 12/01/22: All of January

Wasn’t ā€˜there a post explaining the hitch is not a bolted on part, it is part of the unibody or is directly welded. If that’s the case, they’re different unibody assemblies. This is not a body on frame vehicle like F-150 where the hitch is the most rear cross member.
  6. What goes in to building a Ford… (assembly line video)

You’re right, my mistake, didn’t see exterior photos
  7. What goes in to building a Ford… (assembly line video)

That is MAP (Michigan Assembly Plant). I’ve had the opportunity to tour most of the Ford plants, Flat Rock, Chicago, River Rouge, and others. Really amazing how things have changed from my first tour of the River Rouge Plant in the 60’s. Iron ore in one end, completed cars out the other end...
  8. Hybrid licencing fee?

No Hybrid fee in Georgia, but a $250+ annual fee for my Mustang Mach E
  9. Are the hybrids problem vehicles?

Just a heads up. An extended warranty might be a good option, repairs are expensive out of warranty. My F-150 EB 3.5L needed two turbos, but was handled under TSB and the 3/36 warranty. I have an extended warranty just for that reason. Something to think about. Could have been $2500+
  10. Gear Dial Annoyance

It was designed that way to allow you to turn it to the right without having to look at the dial or dash for selected position. This was how it was explained by the design engineers
  11. True payload number, not 1500lbs in Bed

There have been numerous comments made about a 1500 lb payload. This does not mean you can put 1500 lbs in the bed. Payload is defined as the total payload, which includes all passengers, cargo, added modifications. This is stated in the Ford Towing Guide, and has been in force on all vehicles...
  12. Auto park if door is opened

Ever since the rotary transmission knob was used in Ford vehicles, this has been the norm (Fusion, Escape, MME, etc). It is stated in the owners manual also
  13. Mice in Cab - where do they get in from?

Get an ultrasonic box that repels rodents and plug it in your garage, before they destroy your wiring
  14. Update from Ford to me

I hope it works out, and you get your truck soon. Gives all of us hope!
  15. Order Banks hours opened compared to build days! Yikes

Allocation is a big factor. Check on the Bronco sites, one smaller dealer took 800 reservations. How many have they delivered, 200. Let’s hope the 86,000 reservations/orders can be built in a timely manner. Remember, dealers will get stock units also, based on their size.
  16. Order Banks hours opened compared to build days! Yikes

What would be interesting if you knew and shared your dealer’s allocation number. Also how many orders were placed by your dealer. There are some very large dealers that get their share of the products. Just thinking!
  17. Hybrid 12V Battery is Single Port Vented to the Outside, Maybe a Fleet Battery

I believe all vehicles with ā€œAuto Stop/Startā€ use AGM batteries.
  18. Where's My Georgia Fam?

Placed my 23 XLT order during that 5 day ordering window with Akins in Winder. Crazy thing, I ordered this for my 14 yr old grandson. It should be here for him to start learning to drive. I might enjoy it some also. Good luck to everyone in getting their Maverick in a timely manner.
  19. ESP Plans not able to be bought from out of state dealer?

Remember, you can purchase an ESP anytime prior to the warranty expires. I did this for my Mustang Mach E. You will receive offers from Ford. My dealer let me have it at a major discount.
