As I wait for my hybrid, I'm trying to enjoy every last moment driving my '02 Civic. It will undoubtedly be the last manual transmission vehicle I own. Or will it... thinking of taking my gear-shift knob and having it protrude from the dash cubby in my Maverick.
That is just terrible news. My heart hurts. You must be thinking what terrible luck to have struck the deer in your brand new truck. So glad you are okay though. Hope the insurance process is quick and painless and that you're back on the road in a new Maverick soon!

That's a fair question. All the articles posted below elude to the same source: a dealership, (Granger Ford in Iowa) stating right here on mavericktruckclub.com on July 31st that "currently 100% of hybrid engines will go to fulfill customer orders." As clavicus mentions, a Ford exec responded...

Just looking at the aesthetics, I guess I just don't get it. You could tell me the stance looks more aggressive the more it's raked and I'd shrug at that notion too. I'll just trust the Ford engineers.

I like the simple approach with minimal hardware that Sly Brackets use over the other suggestions in this post. It would be great if we can get confirmation that their bracket will work on the Maverick before the OKTB date. We can keep our dealers from drilling holes.
