I also purchased the Lomax Stance. Owned the truck for three years and it's held up great. No signs of deterioration. There are probably better options for sealing out the rain but I knew that going in. When thinking of buying a new Maverick, the Stance would be my first after-market purchase.
I second the bedrug recommendation. Mine has held up great despite some abuse. It doesn't retain moisture, is super durable, and has so far proven to be stainproof. It's also easy to clean. You can turn a hose on it, sweep it, blow it or vacuum it. I love that the xlt mat covers the gap...
I made an appointment for an oil change and both recalls a couple months back. My appointment was on Monday. When I dropped the vehicle off on Monday the dealership said they needed to order the parts for the airbag recall. I was frustrated but not shocked as I had read similar stories here...
The quality and craftsmanship look amazing. $500 sounds like a bargain to me. I know others have complained about the price. Could I hack, glue and screw something together that might serve the same purpose for less? Probably. I could also make many unforeseen mistakes, end up with warped...
I'm a very satisfied alto blue Maverick owner. Honest! But it just dawned on me that two of my latest purchases boast a different color scheme. Do I qualify for an honorary membership into your club?
Could the alterations made to the grill account for the lower highway mpg estimate? I refer specifically to the removal of some grille shutters as part of the recall that was issued in July for the 2022's...
Nice one!
I also have put my Maverick to work recently. I hauled 700 pounds of garbage out of my aunt's house and garage. Yes that's garbage in the Lariat's backseat. Guess she's officially broken in now.
Thanks for the response. I too installed the tailgate assist back in April and have no regrets. It was easy to attach, and works as expected with no problems so far. I replaced the Ford tie-down with one fabricated by MTC member Chandonnet. (y)
I've only got about 3k on the odometer but I haven't had any issues so far. Of all the characteristics I love about this truck, the one I can't stop marveling over is it's amazing fuel efficiency. I work 5 days a week and this is my daily driver yet I still went 36 days between fill-ups on my...
In the front door, two of my favorite bottles fit very well; secure but not too snug. A standard-width bicycle water bottle also fits perfectly. The back door holds a 32oz nalgene bottle well.
The bad news is the first two shown in the video are now discontinued. It looks like the only...
11 dealership visits in the first 6 months of ownership would be soul crushing. Sorry for your bad luck. I'm having the opposite experience. Minus one keypad issue that just required me to turn the feature off and on again via the gauge cluster menu, my Maverick is 100% trouble free after 5...
I believe those that say some of the plastic scratches easily but I've got about 1500 miles on my Maverick that's been my daily driver since April and I have no scratches that I can find. I don't transport children and only occasionally have others in the cab though.
I don't think slow-cookers/crock pots have been mentioned in this thread yet. They draw below 400 watts even on high settings. It may not seem practical at first if you're thinking of doing the entire 8+ hour cooking time required all from the bed of your truck. But you could fully or...
