Damn near fell out of my chair. Now I get...
It has NOT stopped them. Ford stated specifically that higher profit vehicles are being given priority.
I have said before, we are screwed by this. I understand they why of it but no matter, we are still screwed.
The Ford process is very clear. Those ordering last have the greatest chance of actually getting a build scheduled.
Once that is scheduled you will get a notice regarding a build date.
Prior to that build date you will get another notice telling you that either the build date was moved up by...
Rationalizing crap still leaves it as being crap.
I understand profit and fiscal responsibility and such.
It is still crap for someone to wait this long and see no light at the end of the tunnel.
As far as going to another brand, that remains to be seen. No urgent need for a new car, just a want.
We are all screwed. Do not expect any Hybrid scheduling today.
Ford executives are targeting high profit builds. They stood up and said so.
Where do you think that leaves us?
Only Maverick builds gonna be scheduled are those that have all parts on hand right now. Parts and chips will be...

Only Maverick builds gonna be scheduled are those that have all parts on hand right now. Parts and chips will be dedicated to profit making models.
Come on Ford...
Read my message please.
I said I had 2 hybrid on order, not that I was moving an order to Granger.
Granger offer is perfectly clear and also notes the potential wait time for a new order of an Ecoboost Maverick.
OK so let me get this right, your order has not been delivered yet and your dealer says that your price will be very close to what was initially agreed to?
Now because Ford is raising prices on later orders you are walking away from that deal?
Your principle will mean someone else gets a new...
Misled or you just did not read the details to start with?
Perhaps the dealer should counter sue for lack of attention to detail?
Culture of "I will sue!" is rampant in society now.
Still no build date.
Rubbing salt in the wound some clown from Valor Ford in Junction Kansas tried to tell me they had a AWD hybrid for sale on the lot. Had to spend a second on educating him about Hybrid and AWD.
Wish some sales folks would educate themselves before trying to sell something...
The accent details may stand out better on the red. Both are great colors but since the RR is specific to the FE I would go with that.
Your call, hope you get a build date soon.
I have 2 Hybrid on order but no build date. If I do not get a build date in the next 2 weeks then Granger will be getting my order. Need a vehicle soon and 2.0 eco will do the job until I actually get my hybrid.
Ordered 2. Both Hybrid Lariat Lux with floor mats. 1 Cyber Orange and 1 Vibraint Blue.
Neither scheduled for build yet. Was not sure about the Cyber Orange color even though I saw a Bronco in that color that I liked. Love the VB color but it is just a bit common on so many trucks.
Initially...
If not for the Maverick I would stay with my 2017 Prius V and my 2000 Ranger 4x4.
Was wanting to get down to 1 vehicle as I retire. Save some cash on only one insured.
I get aggrivated by the number of dealer websites that show vehicles but when you check with them the one shown is not for sale and then they try to get you to order one instead.
If I am checking for vehicles for sale then I want exactly that, one that is truely for sale.
A waste of the dealers...
Ordered 2, each from different dealer and neither required a deposit.
Another local dealer wanted 500.00 and then dropped to 250.00 but passed on that since I had knowledge from these forums that a deposit was not needed.
