You can (probably) add an inline filter along the transmission lines going to the radiator. Did that to a few 60s & 70s vehicles, adds a quart to volume and so easy to change I usually did it everyother or every third oil change.

If you amortize the cost over 5yrs (general life of a tire due to exposure) the difference in cost is negligible. The cost of mount/balance/etc has gone up quite a bit.

I sold tires at Sears and Michelin had the fewest complaints or tire construction faults. Goodyear was 2nd.

Find the general location. My guess is a blend slapping shut is a symptom of a larger problem. Good luck

Is there room & enough ground clearance? Battery placement is at the bottom of the list when designing cars. I think it was Chrysler mounted the battery in the front wheel well. You had to remove tire and arch lining to change it. We did free install EXCEPT for that one. It did have covered...

I posted the same question awhile back thinking it would be a straight exchange a la F150 26gl to 35gl. The hybrid tank is 3x(?) more than EB so there is more to it than just capacity. Now an extended range tank on EB might be a possibility 🤔

I will buy one because: I live in the Gulf South and run my a/c 10mo of the year, drive 90% city, just want it for weekend projects, no rear hatch to collect things, bed for adult & kids bicycles & it is THE CHEAPEST NEW HYBRID. And being a tuner the EB would be too tempting to not modify.

If you pay a licensed Ford dealer/customizer it'll be covered. Met a gentleman who had Ford raise his new F250 5", extended for six door cab an added an electric gun locker. All under Ford warranty
