“I pay your salary” is really telling to what kind of customer you are. You’re at a dealership, they may get commission but remember they still got paid during the week where you dragged your feet. I’m sorry you had a bad dealership experience but you can’t go around telling people “I pay your...
The truck should adjust gears when going down hill. When going down hill I can feel the truck down shift and sit around 3-4k rpm but there is no gear indicator in this truck either.
Legit got my maverick the day it said it would be delivered. I’m inSoCal so I most likely got a good delivery schedule but telling people their delivery date will be moving around is a little misleading imo.
I’m in the Lake Arrowhead area. I’m itching to take the maverick on a soft-road trip. If anyone wants to do a trip on an easy trail, I’m down. I’m not experienced in that realm but I want to get into it.
It was an 07 Mazda 3 with the 2.3l engine. The reason it killed gas was because of the gearing, driving up a mountain in 3rd/4th gear to maintain speed chugged gas. Easily sat at 3-4k rpm for 15 min a day, not including highway driving. This truck gets 18mpg up the mountain and consistently...
You want the sticker mileage of an 07 Mazda 3? I drove the car, I know what mileage I was getting from driving up and down a mountain. It was pretty low
My Mazda 3 got about 20mpg, less when I started driving it up a mountain.
This truck gets 22MPG with my commute which isn't the best but at least I feel confident that this one won't break down due to the stress of driving uphill. TBH, this whole event sucks for everyone and people are taking...
I always enjoy the budget options. This one doesn’t have the 3 peak snow rating so I’d have to pass on these. They look good though. I’m curious about the off road capability of these tires.
I just installed some lettering on my Maverick today as well. I found a cheap $20 kit on Etsy. Matte black lettering on Velocity Blue, it looks really good. Hoping to see that it is nice and adhered to my vehicle in the morning. Any idea how long I should wait before I wash the truck?
This is my first Ford as well. I came from a family of Japanese cars/trucks, mainly Toyota. Still haven’t told my father I bought a Ford, I’m sure he’ll disown me as he is a retired Toyota mechanic.
I’ll have to live with it longer to see if I’m truly a Ford fan, or if this is my first and last...
When I drive around the mountain I get about 18 mpg. Driving down the hill on the freeway it run about 25mpg. So far on my normal route I’ve gotten 21mpg. Truck only has 425 miles on it so I haven’t even passed the break-in period yet.
Damn, I need that eco mode lol that’s great mileage
No need to think, they legit told me with a straight face that every salesman in the dealership was hoping I walked away so that they can make a buck of the markup.
