Anyone have some advice on how to get dealers to remove add ons? My Maverick is supposed to arrive this week and my dealer added a bunch of unnecessary extras to mark up the price.

Once I get my Maverick this is the first thing I’m doing. Ordering some good speakers and ripping out the trash. I’m still going to research the subwoofer but I like the idea of having it under the bench seat.
I put at least 1k into my MAZDA3 system and I can see myself doing that again lol
I would rather wire a killswitch to my cigarette lighter. That whole card thing seems like extra effort, I would look at other methods to install a killswitch.

How heavy is your ATV? The tailgate supports up to 500lbs if I remember correctly. Should be fine considering all the weight is distributed across the bed and not only the tailgate.
I own absolutely zero things that require towing. Still got the 4k tow because who knows, I might buy a boat lol. Also I’m sure it will help the resale value.

Most important things I think about ordering this truck is to get a purchase order with your build details and price signed. If you can put a deposit down that should help lock you in.
