Make sure your vehicle is as light as possible. Don’t carry anything inside or in the bed you don’t need. If you aren’t driving too far from home, leave the spare tire at home. Nobody is cheaper than me, but I have had AAA for a while. When you get a flat, the guy just sprays some stuff to fill...
I wonder if U-Haul May ask Ford to make a version with no back seat and some kind of protector between back seat area and front seat. Some people may only be moving a small amount of items, not a whole home. Maybe Hone Depot and Lowes as well.
For anyone reading this who didn’t know, you can order a 2023 Maverick on August 15. DO NOT wait ! I have a feeling a zillion orders will be placed on that day.

Not to tell you what to do, but I would make sure the dealer places that order first thing on August 15 and they fax/email/mail you a document that says what was ordered with that date on it. I have a feeling a zillion orders are going to go into the system on August 15. I think Tim Bartz said...

Fleets are used in a variety of ways. I live in a very large private community. The maintenance guys probably use the trucks very little on highways—trips to Home Depot/Lowes, going for lunch, and getting gas. Speed limit in the community is 25 mph , roads are smooth, and only a few stop signs...
I think Ford will keep the price at $20,000 for the 2023 model. It attracted a lot of people, including yours truly. I think they will stick with it for another 16 or 17 months and then a $1,000-1,500 increase in roughly October 2023 for the 2024 model.
Ford has a retro pick up truck that will continue the horse theme. On the road testing has begun.

Are there any Drive-Ins in Hawaii? We used to have plenty in New Jersey, but land value is so out of site here, that we only have one left in the whole state.
My Dad joined the Navy/Marines when he was 16 during World War II. Nobody was checking birth certificates too closely during the war. He came back alive, but had guys killed right next to him in the Phillipines. My Mom told me he was well into his thirties and still waking up in the middle of...
Last time I checked Ford is an American company and whether it is made in Michigan, Mexico, the North Pole, or Mars, the vehicles are still from an American company so nothing wrong with calling the Maverick an American truck, as long as the article doesn’t say Made in America. And yes, I would...
I will still stick with Free. The dealer I go to has been around for about 70 years and the family now owns about 8 different dealerships across many car companies. They would have to be crazy to be risking a small empire like that by skimping on oil changes. You are certainly entitled to a...
