  1. Fender Flares Installed

Looks good! It looks like you have the factory mud flaps - yes? If so, any trimming of the fender flares required?
  2. Oil Dilution TSB - 2025 Ecoboost

My wife caught me sniffing my oil cap - she gave me a funny look and suggested that I get some help.
  3. Connecticut For sale: Thermal R&D catback exhaust (2025 ecoboost Fitment)

Did you happen to snap a picture of it installed on your truck?
  4. Shifter change wish

I'd like the rotary shifter better if it had a hard stop at D - don't like the fact that it freely turns
  5. CV axles

CV issues seem to be less of an issue on the EcoBoost but it still occurs. I wonder if it is more prevalent for those that tow or tend to do some off road driving....or have modified suspensions. I keep hearing the Tremor CVs are more robust and will fit a non-Tremor EcoBoost. Have people had...
  6. Hauling long pieces of lumber again

I routinely carry up to 12 foot boards in my Maverick. Even though the bed is about a foot shorter than my old Colorado, I find the tie down options in the Maverick make the job much easier. Here's my system - fast and very secure:
  7. Exterior windshield cover recommendations?

Never considered using an exterior sun screen but that may work even better than an interior one.
  8. P0446 Rat Damage

I tried one of those in the engine compartment once. Made quite a mess the next time I started the truck. (fyi - this is a joke...)
  9. DIY Vinyl tailgate letters - how do they hold up?

Personally, I would not use vinyl tape. It would be very difficult to get them lined up properly. The ones I used were matte plastic with an adhesive backing. The stiffness of the material made installation rather easy. Holding up very well.
  10. P0446 Rat Damage

    Try capsaicin tape
  11. Pests nesting in the engine compartment

This won't prevent critters from invading, but will prevent them from chewing wires. Used it for years after mice chewed through a bunch of wires in my former truck. Have had mice continue to nest but never touched the wires. https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/4019-2317.html
  12. Passenger Airbag light recall - photo of how it looks after the fix?

According to the notice "The time needed for this repair is less than one-half day.......your dealer may need your vehicle for a longer period of time" Unless you luck out, I'm betting you need to drop off truck or have the time to drink a lot of coffee, eat a few buckets of popcorn, and take...
  13. How to tell if you have the updated front axle

I forgot to add that - it's the Ecoboost
  14. How to tell if you have the updated front axle

Appreciate the link. No receipt as previous owner had it done and no way to contact them. Likewise we are not sure of the date of the replacement. I'll crawl under the front end and see if I can get a part number
  15. How to tell if you have the updated front axle

Thanks - appreciate the reply. My friend got a good deal as it was a relatively high mileage 2024 (40K) but well taken care of. So she’s concerned about this as she nears 60k. Hopefully someone who has done the replacement themselves might have made some comparisons.
  16. How to tell if you have the updated front axle

Whoops! Axle is is. It's a used 2024 a friend just bought and supposedly it had both front axles replaced.
  17. How to tell if you have the updated front axle

Wondering if there's a way to tell if you have the updated front axle. Is there some measurement you can take - axle thickness or length?
  18. 2025 Maverick Drop-in vs Spray-in Bedliner?

I also typically use a bed mat on top of the spray in - softer landing for crap you throw in and better at keeping things from sliding around. Easy to remove and spray out any crap that gets between the mat and bed over time.
  19. 2025 Maverick Drop-in vs Spray-in Bedliner?

Take a look at the bed after you have a drop in liner installed for a while. Vibration and loading/unloading results in wearing through the paint where the liner contacts the bed.
