  1. BUYING MY 1st MAVERICK | Advice Welcome!

I purchased w/ Carvana and overall, it was just okay. My biggest complaint is that it seemed that if you don't finance thru them, then things get tricky and there are lot of phone calls that could be handled by emails. I purchased in June around Junteenth, the national (i.e. Bank) holiday and...
  2. Eco vs norm mode

Like I've said before: Eco is the new Normal.
  3. Eco vs norm mode

I notice faster deceleration when lifting off the accelerator pedal and slower acceleration when resuming cruise control. Could be my imagination. I haven't read this anywhere in a Ford manual or done any real controlled experimentation on my part.
  4. Another door lock dilemma.

Mansplaining, on the other hand, is pretty darn obvious. 🙄
  5. Another door lock dilemma.

In math class, they lock at 32,688 furlongs/fortnight.
  6. Hopes and wishes: Top Gun Edition

No. But I am hoping they do a Wheelright edition of the Maverick. You know, the one where Maverick spoofed Bonanza, but instead of the Cartwrights, it was the Wheelrights? You remember: Joe was the father, the sons were Henry, Moose and Small Paul? Now that would be something. "We've got a...

  9. Stop stressing. Just drive your Maverick and enjoy 😅

I also own a Chevy Spark. I rather like it as it's sporty by nature, no, not good acceleration, but if you know how to drive a car, you don't have to slow down too much, but it's certainly not my first compact, economy, minimalist vehicle. The thing is how this is a compact, maybe entry level...
  10. Stop stressing. Just drive your Maverick and enjoy 😅

I wasn't looking for something to stress over, but all these guys getting 600 miles on a tank w/ their hybrids sure are making me jealous. I guess I do too much highway driving and trailer pulling to get the inconceivable mileage some of these folks are getting. I can't say the mileage I get is...
  11. Stop stressing. Just drive your Maverick and enjoy 😅

Remember odd/even rationing and 20 gallon limits? I haven't had a car with a tank that big in forever.
  12. 2025 Mav Lobo 2.0 - Dash light after recent Service... What is this?

I recently rented a trailer and could not tell if the Mav disabled the next lane sensor. I don't know if it knew that I was pulling a trailer from driving in tow mode or the trailer light plug, but as others have said, that's all it is.

  16. 2024 Lariat Tremor Black

You do realize that you could have fit more of that wood that you haul around daily if you put the tailgate down and used your bed extender, right?
