  1. Dealer claim they put the standard spray in bed???

Unfortunately, if he walks, another customer will come along and pay those BS charges.
  2. Changing oil using ramps

Any suggestions on a ramp for a lowered Maverick? Two inches lowered in the front. I've seen some ramps specifically for lowered vehicles but they seem to not be tall enough to raise the truck enough for me to get under there and change my oil. I do all my own maintenance and trying to avoid...
  3. Personal license plates / vanity plate for your Maverick??

I've been waiting eight months now for my CA personalized plates. I guess they are very popular.
  4. RealTruck AVS Bugflector II Review

Too bad because I really like the look and function of the RealTruck AVS Bugflector II . I have it, still new in the box but I can't convince myself to install it because of the issues mentioned here. I called to return it for a refund. They gave me my refund but did not want the item back so I...
  5. My Lariat & Hubby's F250 🤣

    That is one nice Maverick.
  6. Anyone color-matched/painted side mirror covers?

Not even the Lariat? So no key pad and no colored mirrors on the 2024s? Makes no sense.
  7. Windshield wiper won't return to original position

My 2023 Lariat does the same thing with the passenger wiper blade, it does not settle down all the way. So is this normal or am I missing something? Thanks.
  8. Tailgate Assist Is On!

The Mav is a great little truck. Easy to park, wash, and it has a good size bed. You should be good to go after your upcoming mods, especially the tonneau cover. I see you have the Lariat, which is even better with more features. May I suggest window tinting? especially, if you live in a warm...
  9. Tailgate Assist Is On!

I think this is the best mod. Inexpensive, functional, safety feature. I use it everyday.
  10. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

The Mav rides smoother than my wife's stock suspension Honda Accord Sport, my friend's BMW, and a lot smoother than my Jeep wrangler. The BMW and the Accord both ride on low profile tires so that makes a difference. I guess this lowering kit is not for everyone. I've been lowering and lifting...
  11. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

I didn't touch the tie rod. It was not necessary to remove with the Eibach lowering springs as far as I know. I have the AWD.
  12. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

The rear was the easiest for me with the AWD. The front took longer because of the spring compressor needed. Just take your time. You will need a second hand to lift and align the strut to tighten the three bolts in the engine compartment. Also, I suggest you completely remove the sway bar link...
  13. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

Yes, rear shock lower bolts. The bushings will bind if you torque them before putting the weight of the vehicle on the ground. It's in the manual. I also did many lifts on my Jeeps over the years and it is well known that any suspension components with bushings, such as lower and upper control...
  14. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

Also, you want to tighten/torque rear bolts with the weight of the truck on the ground to avoid damaging the shock bushings. Hope this helps, take care.
  15. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

Thanks, I posted pics of the torque specs on slide #7.
  16. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

I got them from someone here on this forum. They come from the Ford Maverick manual. It also says that you must discard the OEM bolts and nuts and purchase new ones. I just re-used the OEM ones. I didn’t see a need to buy new ones.
  17. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

I have the Eco AWD. The rear may be different for non AWD. In the rear, 81 lb.ft for the shock absorber upper and lower bolt and nuts connected to the lower control arm. 81 lb.ft as well for the lower control arm to the wheel knuckle bolt and nut. In the front: stabilizer bar link upper...
  18. Eibach Lowering Springs Installed

2023 Lariat Eco AWD Alto Blue Finally installed the lowering springs. The rear was super easy, the front was more time consuming but not bad. About 6 hours all together. The ride is the same as stock, smooth, no rubbing, no noises, and it handles better. I also like how it is not too low, just...
