It was the silver hybrid that a previous poster on this thread made an inquiry for. I called the dealer and the manager confirmed that they will only sell it to me.
They indicated they sell to the original order holder unless they cannot reach them for a while, or the order holder cancels.
This is the Maverick I ordered and I've been waiting over a year. It is NOT available, and I plan to purchase it once it arrives at Bob Wondries Ford. I'll be contacting the dealer soon...

I saw a Santa Cruz yesterday. Looked ok since it was in black. But I just looked up the Santa Cruz fuel economy - it's not good: [22 city / 26 hwy / 23 combined]. As a small truck, that bad fuel economy removes the incentive to get it (aside from questionable looks).

I would keep the cactus. I switched from A51 to silver after I started seeing A51's on the freeway (color looked off to me). I seriously considered switching to cactus as well but I decided to go with silver after seeing the silver in person.
My original Hybrid XLT order was on 11/14/2021. It was never built, and rolled over into a model year 2023 order in September. My dealer put me on a high priority and my order was scheduled recently to be built in mid December.
They indicate there is no intention for a private offer to adjust for increased pricing. They are not saying you cannot roll over though. You will just roll you order to a '24 with the higher price.
I got the “45 days” email 3 days prior to getting my 2023 Maverick scheduled.
The “45 days” email is just an automated email. If you are not scheduled yet, they will send you that email.
I was just told my 2023 rollover order has a compatibility error and I need to work with my dealer. I'm going in tomorrow to get resolved.
I have an XLT w/hitch, moonroof, and some other options. No Lux package.
It doesn’t matter if the window sticker went up. The dealer can get paid back from Ford for the price difference between the window sticker and the original order price.
You should also be able to get the 0% for 36 months offer too.
I got the same cryptic email too, but my MY2023 successfully rolled over (I verified with Ford Chat again this morning).
I think this email was sent to people who had a MY2022 order that wasn't scheduled. Nothing to do with MY2023 orders.
