I specifically asked about the extra $100 and the person at BMV said the Mav isn't showing up in the system as a hybrid. I would expect to have the system catch up at some point.

I went to Ohio BMV a few weeks ago and tried to pay the extra $100. They told me it wasn't in the system as a hybrid so they couldn't charge me. Hoping that doesn't catch up to me later.

I did not. I did renew it until 2024. I imagine they will figure it out eventually.
