See... THIS is what I'm talkin' about. Wider wheels, and bulging fenders to match (a la Raptor, but more speed focused). They reduced the Ecoboost down to 238hp; why not give the Lobo 275hp? The standard Maverick footprint just doesn't quite do it for me on this new trim level. A wider stance...
No regrets here. The MY25 AWD added safety features, added towing capacity, and pushbutton start would be nice, but I'm looking at another 4k+ over what I bought mine for earlier this year. Being retired, on a fixed income, I've got all the truck and all the financial load I need right now...
Cheers and hats off to the admins of this site. Ford had everything ready to reveal, and all the facts and figures can be found right here (including video links). Well done! πππ«‘
It's not just you... I've also noticed that it's a bit tricky to find how to get back to the radio while Android Auto is running. While not impossible, it's easier to get to the radio while your phone isn't plugged in. Luckily, I don't use my radio very often.
Just got mine today. Can I smile any bigger when I look at my Maverick? Yes! Yes I can πππ. For me, this is a proper pickup truck (especially for the Midwest). This is what I dreamed of back in 2021 when the Maverick was announced. I even saved $100 on installation (over what Softopper...
Lol... Not talking 'redonkulous' π³ππ
I think Ford did a good job with the Mach-e. That's more what I'm thinking. Similar platform also. ππ
IMHO... What's wrong with the wheels is that they aren't wide enough. Not sure how wide you can get on the current platform though, the Escape and Bronco Sport have the same problem. I'm getting used to the front end, but as others have said, the black makes it look a little better. I wish...
High pitched sound (intermittent, while driving, or at idle), sound like a siren, the 'weerr' sound everytime I come to a stop. Not to mention all the clicks and pops after it's turned off. I've had mine for four months now, and I'm getting used to those noises. I just tune them out... But I do...
This is exactly what they're trying to avoid. Obviously, the design/r&d/build model is flawed, to a certain extent. Taking a breath after the build, to check over what you've actually got... That's a good move, especially in an era where the customer is expecting better quality for the higher...
I'm thinking of going the molle route myself. It's affordable, and there are many options depending on what you want to hold/contain/strap down. Just a thought. π
