    Ford is building its own hybrid transmissions and they are behind. they usually buy them from others But not the hybrid.

    You are right, dealer allocations and parts supply are the MAIN drawbacks to builds.my dealer has not got one hybred while Long has got hundreds!

    My salesman was fired soon after my order and none assigned to me therefore I never got called or any e mails. Only Ford calls was my info. Build date Dec 19

    Talked to Ford CS today and she confirmed that the memo is real,she has seen it. She moved my build date from Dec 12 to Dec 19 which does not make sense . She said the problem is hydred trans.

    Well I guess I’m the oldest, 87 and drive a small Toyota pu.1994 only 114k mi. My fords gate back to a 36 I drove to high school. had dozens on fords.

    Just a reminder , the jump box I have was stored under the seat and I went to use it ,it was dead and would not recharge. My fault for not keeping it charged.
