Yesterday I read on this forum, that the 2 lens for the cargo bed light over the rear window, are melting the light cover. Does anyone know what bulb to install to replace the ones that get hot if left on to long?
What does this have to do with questions about Maverick trucks? I've noticed lately members are posting things that should be on different forums, not the Maverick Truck Forum.
You are right about how much gas you save by driving a hybrid locally. No one realizes how much local driving they do, compared to highway driving. It's the short trips with the eCVT never starts the gas engine, and my mpg goes into the 50's.
As long as it's a Ford ESP, it doesn't matter where or what Ford dealership it was purchased at, it's transferable, or pro rated if you trade your truck in.
The answer to whether get an ESP warranty is determined by how long are you going to keep your Maverick. Getting a 10 year ESP will guarantee if anything needs repairing, or replacing, it will only cost you $100 for parts, and labor by Ford which has all the programs to recalabrate what needed...
It's nice to know that Mavericks are real trucks. You showed the big truck owners that your Maverick can go under, and over places they need ATV's to get to. I guess after we get a few battle scars on our Mavs we may try to use them the way they were meant to be used. Great pictures!
That was good advice you gave yourself. We know, as old mechanics, not to start looking for problems, if there isn't any. Start reading your owners manual so you know what new things we never saw before, what todays vehicles have, and no longer have.
I went with a Gator trifold cover, after having a roll up one on my last truck. Tri folds are easier for you to use, or remove by yourself, and can be found for less then $200.
Welcome to our forum. Things to get, or do to your Maverick, Bug Shield to protect chips, Tint front windows, add tailgate letters, Floor mats etc, etc, we love making our trucks one of a kind!
