It’s gone to Maverick heaven. The insurance company declared the vehicle a total loss . Over $30 000
In damages. I have replacement
value , for the truck and accessories
I had installed on it.
Time to start shopping for a replacement.
Thanks for the input , you are 100% right it looks like the lower part of the truck moved forward. The top of the bed is detached to the bottom part. It’s hard to take pictures with a neck brace.
The front hood does not open . The gaps are no equal . It looks like it shifted. The rear is worse , I had to force the tailgate open . The bottom of the bed is about 1/2 inch in compared to the top. It use to be flush. When I tried to remove the cubby in the bed , I couldn’t it was jammed in ...
My wife’s Maverick has a drop in liner. I installed the bison hard tri fold ( it’s more like 4 fold, you have 3 sections the same size and on small sections near the cab were you can prop up the 3 sections) simple install.
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. It took about 4 hours ( that includes rust proofing ) Since you have to remove the bumper cover to install the grill. I decided to rust proof .For the electrical connections I followed a you tube video that was posted on the site. (TDTV GARAGE)
The dealer broke my windshield during the air bag recall. They installed an original ford windshield. They didn’t recalibrate the sensor. It took 3 days to get the truck back. They loaned me a Lincoln Aviator. I got the truck back , they cleaned it inside out.
2 recalls so far. First was a decal for the anti pollution ( ford sent it directly to me with the option of having the dealer install it. Did it myself. Now I have the airbags left. That’s it. I am very happy with my purchase.
