For those of you towing, are you using tow/haul? I noticed in tow/haul the electric doesn’t come on, maybe going down hill.

And you think the first year of a hybrid Tacoma to be recall free?

Wanting to know what is turning inside while being towed. I’ve read, you can’t tow a Tesla because it turns the electric motors.

I saw the thread but that was just a guys findings. No technical data to back it up. Thinking more of an engineers answers.

With all this talk about ecvt, does anyone know what is going on inside the transmission when in neutral tow mode while towing? As in, what’s turning?

Stays on for 90 minutes. I’ve timed it several times as I needed it to stay on all the time for my brake controller when towing behind my motorhome. Ended up wiring one straight from the battery. At least my 2023 Hybrid does.

Did you splice the wires for diodes?

Probably a reason for it. Keeps from messing up the dial.

Granger is cheaper. I bought the Lombard and cancelled. I even called Lombard and the lady said they can’t compete with Granger.

I used the bkue io I used the blue ox and took my time cutting out the fascia. Looks good

Looks great. I just finished mine and can’t figure what the 2 yellow wires go to. I wired the red to the passenger side light and all the lights come but can’t figure out the yellow wires.
