I decided to accept the Vroom offer of 39k on my Lariat last week on Thursday. So far Crickets since I hit accept on their website. The more I look at the Mav in my driveway, the more I want to keep it.
My experience with Chapman was awesome, however when my truck came in they emailed me and said "it's in, when do you want to come pick it up?"
I called them to ask, so I could plan my flight up, they asked for 2-3 days to do PDI, I came in, got the truck and left. Prob the fastest, painless...
I agree. I know some magazines do it, to get the best possible times. I was saying it would definitely give it a better time on paper if they boosted. However, yeah I live pretty close to sea level, and my Maverick feels pretty quick.
Edit: I have the 4k Tow, so maybe that gearing difference...
I think they just floored it on green. If they brake boosted it, it would have shot out of the hole and crushed that 7.74 IMO.
edit: Same goes for all the turbo Vehicles I guess.
Well trying to be as impartial as possible. Probably the Maverick. The interior looks cheap, yet looking around this truck, it seems the Ford really built some parts of this truck strong, to last. The biggest reason the Hyundai will last longer (IMO not based on facts) is I bet the Santa Cruz...
Did the same, no offer from carvanna or CarMax. Local Ford dealer offered MSRP, Vroom offer is awesome for my Lariat.
I paid invoice - 4% at Chapman. Even after tax and fees I'm at a good spot
