Does anyone else here lease their Maverick? If so what were your terms & are you planning on keeping your Maverick at lease end by purchasing it, financing the remaining balance or turning it in for another vehicle?

The more I drive this truck the more I regret not purchasing it when the interest rates were low. I will be purchasing this vehicle when the lease ends in January 2025. I guess you live and learn!

If anyone is in the New York area, my airbag recall was done by Empire Ford of Huntington in Suffolk County Long Island. It took two days to complete, but they did a good job. I rather them take their time and do a complete job.

Unfortunately will be a slap on the wrist in good old New York :/

Agreed the rear passenger got the worst of it because she may have hit her head on rear glass and vehicle was stuck from behind. Front passengers were in better shape even after the vehicle was dragged into intersection into another oncoming vehicle.

Had my recall done Tuesday. Took two days, but truck looks good. Don’t see any marks or dirt from the install. Looks flush. Hopefully all went well and no issues with it going forward!

Hmm I’ll have to check and see if my screen is hot as well. I wonder where the smell is coming from? Mine is currently at the dealership for the air bag recall and I did mention the smell to the technician to check out.

Did the owner state why they were selling it with practical no miles on it ?

I started realizing it around 18,000 miles. It comes and goes. Only with AC it seems. Not a good smell. Hopefully nothing major.

I was I uneducated when it came to lease versus finance at the time. I have since realized my error. I still think in the end I will make out with the truck still being highly sought after. It’s a matter if I want to keep the truck or get another vehicle. Thoughts ?

Yes it would be $26,900 with my current payments left and the buyout price.

I should have never leased the truck. I should have purchased it. It was a mistake wanting low monthly payments. The buyout price of my truck is $20,500 at the end of the lease on 1/30/2025. It wouldn’t make sense to turn it back in.
