I haven't tried it but I read if you have the truck in neutral (or maybe in park?) and put the pedal to the floor, it'll start and idle the ice. I'm sure ford has a backdoor that allows them to bypass the auto shutoff.

Got my truck back. Ford corporate apporved a battery replacement at no cost to me. Dealer was cagey when I asked for details of the fix, he just said they reset all the modules and replaced the battery and let it sit for a long weekend, and the truck did not throw a battery warning. Of course...
