I wonder why the mavs seem to be so prone to rock damage. I wouldn't think it would be much different than an Escape.

Would those wind / bug deflectors help if this was actually a rock (which I highly doubt it was). I was debating on getting one based on how many people have issues with the maverick glass but I don't know if it would actually help.

Car manufactures should really start putting usb ports up by the mirror. There is always power going up there for lights so it wouldn't take much to add them. I was debating on adding one myself for my dash cam. Fuses seem to be the same besides some being spare on the 25 vs 24 aka not used...

On my escape I always noticed the turbo was louder in colder temps. Did temp drop recently? Also make sure air intake connected. Mine got really loud one time and I noticed the intake fell off and it was sucking air after the filter which is a big no no.

I highly doubt it. Sounds like a very specific thing they would have had to program it to do. What I really want is the side camera to come on with turn signals.

In theory you could also get comma.ai which should work while towing which takes over fords ACC and lane centering completely but its pretty pricy.

They are all pretty much the same. Some have detached front cam which can be helpful for making sure the camera is in a good unobstructed position. I have a togaurd one and haven't had any issues.

My guess is greater liability while towing. Doesn't really make sense to disable it logically.
