  2. Market Adjustment Question

I spent an entire three day weekend looking, calling, and emailing dealers in May. Markup amounts ranged from $5k to $10k. Finally found one a customer declined to take delivery on. It was May 29th, was able to get dealer down to $895 over MSRP but I had to take delivery by end on month AND...

  6. Ram Rampage coming to the US by the End of the Year

The more competition, the better. Look at the mid-size truck segment right now. The quantity of the products will improve due to the competition. Looking forward to Toyota and Ram entering the compact pickup market, I believe it will result in a better Maverick for me.
  7. What did YOU cross shop with the Maverick?

We were leasing a 2019 Ranger when I ordered a Maverick that never got built. Sold the Ranger to local Ford dealer three months after the order for Maverick was placed. Waited and waited. Got frustrated and cancelled order. Not smart. Also regretted selling Ranger. Car sharing for over a year...

  9. Actual mileage for an ecoboost

Thanks for the info. Most of the highway speed limits around here are 55 or 65, so that would be the max. Not much in the way of hills locally until we get into upstate NY or CT. Will be interesting to see what happens.
  10. Actual mileage for an ecoboost

Good luck with the Ridgeline, it is a fine vehicle. We test drove a base model, a Sport I think. It was okay, nothing exciting or terrible about it. Wife wanted something different and liked the Mav when she drove it. On my first tank ever as we speak, will be happy to average 25 mpg as the...

  12. Taking Delivery Tomorrow (5/31)

Picked up a bed mat from the local Fore Dealer yesterday and the Husky Liners arrived today. Made a little progress on the little improvements it needs. I think I may get the strut for the tailgate next.
  13. Tremor scheduled for production 6/5 - 2024 Ranger ordered

I wanted to order a new Ranger as I enjoyed the 2019 Lariat FX4 we had. I definitely want the 2.7 engine also so we will be waiting awhile. I agree, no 4A is big miss by Ford! It bothered me so much that I called my local dealer about the Raptor version today. Nobody has placed an order for it...

  17. 1st oil change, competed at Ford Dealership and I have a question . . .

Thanks. Some good info here. I just picked my Mav EB up yesterday. I plan to change every 5k as I did with my 2017 Escape with 2.0EB. The one question I do have is whether it would be wise to do the first change at 1k or just wait until 5k?
  18. What essential staple items do you keep in your Maverick?

Some great ideas here, thank you. I plan on placing some of these items under the rear seat in case the wife ever needs them.
  19. Taking Delivery Tomorrow (5/31)

Thank you. I am as terrible with technology as my wife is with parking But I snapped a couple of quick shots. I apologize for the dust, amazing how much crap falls from the sky in 24 hours.
  20. Taking Delivery Tomorrow (5/31)

Picked her up late this afternoon, took a little longer than anticipated and the traffic sucked going home, 2.5 hours to go 55 miles. Finance Manager marked up interest rate two percent so I informed him I will be paying off the loan at the first payment. Other than that it went pretty smooth...
