I ordered Oct 9 and today Ford says they have no record that my order was ever placed. I have a confirmation from Ford of the order Oct 9 and had checked on it by calling Ford about 5 times previously. I’m not happy.
That’s a plausible guess but that’s why I contacted Ford multiple times I. The last and asked that question but I never know if they are giving a predefined response or actually checking my order. I asked today if the ROVP thing might be the reason but they said they had no record so couldn’t...
I opened a Twitter account to complain to Ford. I’m looking for an email address to write a letter. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve watched this forum and YouTube videos so much I can’t believe it’s ending like this.
Also, Ford said that if the dealer cancelled the order that should still have a record of the order and be able to see it was cancelled but they can find no record it ever existed???
I ordered an xlt hybrid Oct 9,2021 with Fayetteville Ford in Georgia. I received an order confirmation same day by email from Ford. I also received a March 2022 email apologizing for constraints on my order. Last week I had the dealer change my color from silver to white. Today June 20,2022 I...
You have to remember that development and validation testing for the Maverick occurred during Covid. You need to think back about everyone that could working from home and limited staffing. If they were testing a vehicle on the track they would have had to wear masks and probably would only...
It may not be essential to life but my round trip for work is 82 miles per day and my truck gets 13mpg highway. It’s costing me about $9000 a year for gas and gas is still going up so - I’m not happy.
I get 14mpg in my 1995 z71 which I still love. I’m only buying for gas reasons in that I still need to haul some things and can’t afford to keep two vehicles instead of one (Ford Maverick)
That’s awesome. I would love to have a new duramax diesel. I’m a Chevrolet guy. I’ve owned 6 or so Corvettes and 4 or so Chevrolet trucks. I currently have a 1995 Z-71 which I love and a Corvette. But the Maverick is the wise responsible thing to do for a guy with a daughter starting college...
I guess I would read that as 2/3rds of Maverick buyers are over the age of 44. The trucks are so popular with the older crowd because they have reached the age that they no longer care what people think about them so they no longer feel the need to have a lifted big full size 4wd truck to back...
I’m getting an xlt without Lux but planning on buying the Lariat leather non lux wheel (which isn’t heated but is leather) and installing it. It’s about $450. I can do the swap myself but may ask the dealer to do it to avoid voiding my warranty. I’m figuring it might be worth $100 or so labor...
