I had looked and it is about 165 lbs of shear force with my setup. Tying to the roof rack was less than ideal but it got me by in a pinch. I have a trip coming up in a month and I know I will need to either tie off to the truck or bushwhack to an area that I can find 2 trees as I'll be staying...
I got 4ā scratch on the drivers door on the second day I had my truck. First trip to the grocery store and when I came out I saw it. Definitely got hit by a shopping cart.
My bed and tailgate is scratched up as well. Not worried about them as Iāll eventually get a spray in bed liner.
It is a total luxury but I think it is worth it. The shifting is smooth and quick and Iāve never had it miss a shift or skip.
I bought the bike in 2019 and upgraded it over the years. This year was di2. Competitive Cyclist had a good sale earlier this year and I decided to treat myself. When I...
That is folded all the way up. With it like that I lose 8ā of bed space.
That is a factory hard tri fold. It can be taken off in about a minute. There is a Star knob on the front corners that hold it on.
I mounted a 1Up van tray to some 10 series aluminum extrusion and have it pushing the front tire against the bed divider. The rear tire sits in a divot on the tailgate and didnāt move on the 10 mile trip. I purposely went over some old bumpy roads to test it out.
Setup this way it aloes me to...
I use a hammock as well. I currently use a Dutchware Banyan bridge hammock and I love it.
The one thing that I need to figure out is how to hang it off the truck in case I can only find 1 tree. Itās happened to me a few times. In the past Iāve tied it around the roof rack of a suv. Not sure if...
If you pull out the tab and give it a little turn it will stay out. Do that in both sides and you can slide it to where you want it then twist the tan to lock it in place.
My tonneau cover rails didnāt have a seal on the inside so I didnāt add one. Maybe Iām reading the directions wrong and was supposed to replace the seal that was already on the Elevate rail but it didnāt sound like that was the case.
My hard trifold fits very tight with the Elevate rails. Tight to the point that I had to push it way harder than I'd like to get it in and to close. I took off the rails and will put them back on when I need to use the rack which will only be a few times per year.
If there isn't someone behind me, I will use L to slow down on my daily commute when approaching stop lights or stop signs. If I time it right I can come to almost a complete stop at the light and only have to put my foot on the brake at the very end to completely stop.
I live closer to Balise Ford in Wilbraham so Iāll probably have any service done there.
Balise told me that they werenāt going to start scheduling appointments until after the order banks opened because they didnāt know what time theyād open. Marcotte scheduled an appointment when they knew the...
I picked up my 23 Lariat hybrid on Tuesday and was talking to the sales manager about how the ā24 orders were going while doing my paperwork. He said they were allocated 32 for ā23 and when I went in on 9/16/22 at about 3 pm I was the 30th order that day. He said as of Tuesday they only had 25...
