It just made me smile when I saw that April fools joke. Makes me smile now that I have one! It's flat black 3M reflective that turns white at night. Floor mats have the logo so far. Have not placed the one on the dash yet. Logo is also on the tailgate.
I posted a photo of my 2025 XLT with 2300 miles, same circle on the driver side, front rotor. Purchased new. I didn't want to sit at hte dealer for hours when they tell me its ok, normal.
In the first photo you can see in the center of the rotor a shiny area appears to not touch the brake pad (driver side) but above & below that has a nice wear pattern. Passenger side even wear across the rotor. Anyone have this (I don't want to look at someone's Mav in a parking lot that close...
I was thinking the same thing. It's full, then I look and it's 3/4. My Ranger got 300 miles on 3/4 tank (fill up at 1/4 tank). Now I get over 400 miles on the smaller Maverick tank. Maybe we're driving more because it's more enjoyable? When I first got my convertible 25 years ago it would take...
I purchased a drop in bed liner with tailgate cover for my 2025 last month. Tailgate cover used double sided tape, fell off the first day in Phoenix heat. My wife looked at it a reminded me my Ranger got Line-X 20 years ago and it still looked good. New Line-X is lifetime warranty. Go get...
I learned on my other vehicles NOT to buy off brand LED bulbs. Or if you do, test them fully right away, day & night and return if not working correctly. I didn't want load resistors and have an LED draw as much power as the incandescent. The Lasfit front turn signal switchbacks work and look...
Very nice! Thanks for reporting it. Seeing a lot more Mav's now that I drive one. And found a few friends have them now too so maybe it's time for a Phoenix, AZ meet-up as the weather cools.
After one month driving my new 2025 XLT Lux hybrid, i was in pain after a 10 minute drive, limping when I got out. Another thread on MTC someone suggested a gel foam seat cushion. Found it Saturday night on amazon for $20 with delivery by 8am the next morning. It came with a zip up cover. Took a...
My family drove Fords for years. My first car was a VW bug given to me. Then in 1975 I bought a '64 1/2 Mustang and have always had at least had one Mustang (up to 3) at any given time. Then in 2005 bought a new Ford Ranger and in 2022 decided I would get a Maverick and a month ago got a new...
I only knew about the Mustang! Glad you got a Maverick, I did too last month. Too bad about the Bronco. Too hot to take the ASC/McLaren out so now I have the Mav to play with. I have a special decal to go on the side of the bed that arrived today.
Whoa, nice. Do you come downhill both ways on the commute? LOL. I got 45mpg downhill today in Phoenix, so I didn't bother to snapshot it. 2k miles on it so far.
Correct facts! The last year of any American production car with a Holley and only on the 5 speed. Sorry, this is the only shot of it on my pc from 2007. It is still in that spot with the cover on it. Our daughter uncovered it last year to start driving it, since her '85 GT Fiero is not a...
My Maverick is my third new vehicle. Came from owning a 2005 Ford Ranger 3.0 auto that got 20mpg brand new and 20mpg with 288,000 miles on it when I sold it for $3500 last month. I put $2500 down and my work paid the rest of the $19k selling price. Made $1,000 after 20 years. Now if the Mav can...
Ah, ok. Simple security but a bit of a pain. I wouldn't bother if I was just stopping quickly but for a several hour stop I would. It is better to stop the sun before it enters the cab.
