Well, I installed the bags Saturday and I got my first pressure correction this morning as I was pulling out of the garage. I heard the compressor come on for less than a second, so I'm guessing it had dropped a fraction of a PSI, that could have been because of the temperature change alone...
I paid 437.00 plus tax for the compressor system, but that's still pricy. I'm kind of a convenience junky and I will be loading this thing down on occasion and when I do, I'm usually in a hurry. To me it's worth it, but if I was only going to need the suspension boost on rare occasion and I...
I will on occasion be adding considerable more weight then I have on my day to day ride. I will want the ability to pump up the bags and bring things back to level.
I didn't see this post before I replied to another post. It's true that the rear suspension on the AWD mavericks are completely different. The FWD mavericks don't have a upper control arm in the rear, but they do have a lower control arm; you can see it pretty clearly in picture #7.
I'm pretty confident the Ecoboost FWD rear springs are the same type as the hybrid, although it's posable they are of a different rate. I've seen pictures of the force vectoring springs uninstalled, and it's true that they are going all over the place, but in their saddles they look like any...
I had wishfully hoped that I wouldn't need to go this route, but my wish was NOT granted. After adding my bed storage system and considerable weight in tools
and supplies, the rear height had dropped about an inch. That in itself was not a problem, as it pretty much just leveled the truck...
Most of the other mods are in this picture. Auto diming mirror with garage door remotes. Dash cam. Phone holder with charger and power supply. Motorola wireless dongle. The little chrome ball to the right of the currant phone holder is one I tried, but it was way to flimsy for the weight of my...
I pondered several solutions before I settled on this. Every mind experiment I did kept coming up with simpler solutions.
My first Idea was to build a wood DECKED type setup, but that would have been a great deal of work and had very little flexibility.
My second idea was a plywood divider...
I have figured it out finally. When I receive a message, I have to physicality hit the android auto button on the bottom of the screen, then it will prompt me to read or reply. Sync 3 would do this automatically.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I should clarify my situation. I do have android auto that hooks up automatically every time I get in to my truck through a Motorola dongle.
In my Ranger (sync 3), when a text message is received, I'm asked if I want it read aloud and then asked if I would like...
I've search the forum and google it, but can't find an answer.
Can Ford audio receive and respond to text by voice (with or without android car play) ?
This function works great in my 2019 Ford Ranger with sync 3, but does not appear to be available with Ford audio that is found in the...
It's actually an airplane hanger door, it's no longer used to house an airplane though, I use my hanger to house my equipment and materials. The cylinders are electric over hydraulic.
Thanks for the reply, but I tried that and it resulted in it being about 1" too high, even with my 210 lbs sitting on the tail gate, but I'm wondering if that was Ford's intention ? I really want it to be level with my tool box lid.
So I have a problem. I could have sworn I was a technique for adjusting the tailgate to the second height available (the one higher than the wheel wells), but I guess I must have dreamt it up.
I'm going to build a tool box to the height of the higher of the two locations to hold all my...
Is it possible that the Elevate top T brackets can be turned 180 degrees, so that the tighter radius is facing inboard, thus allowing the tonneau cover to clear the brackets ?
