Those 245's look great!
I have to tell you, I was going back and forth between the 235's and 245's. When I was driving away from Discount Tire, I was like: "Maybe I should've went with the 245's?" 😅 😅 But overall, very happy with these tires!
Thank you!
I've only had them for a day, but I really like the feel of them! I was very close to getting the Trail AT3's! I'm sure I'd be happy with those too!
Hopefully you don't have to wait too long on your Mav! Post some pics for us when it arrives!
Yep! At the end of the day, it's how they handle and grip that matters!
When you're on the Great Lakes, you're basically on the ocean, only fresh water! 😅
Michigan is indeed beautiful! My brother is in Oakland County and my sister is in Lapeer County, with other relatives in between!
I hear you! I had my stock Continentals on for about 16 months! They held up well, and I probably could've ran them a bit longer, but we had such heavy snow last winter, I decided to go ahead and get my new ones.
Yep, I've only had them one day, but will provide an update in a week or two! I've heard they don't affect the mpg too significantly. If it gives me good handling in my winter driving, losing a mile or two in mpg will be worth it.
Thank you! I really like the CC2's! Those look great! Those will serve you well, as Michigan can have some nasty winters! BTW, my family are all in Michigan!
I've had my Maverick Hybrid for about 16 months, and with the heavy snowfall we had in northern Utah this past winter, I decided it was time for some new tires! After reading lots of threads concerning tires, I decided on the Falken A/T3W's. I decided on 235 65 r17 size. I was thinking about...
Exactly!
Not discounting the OP's woes here, but my guess is the vast majority of hybrid owners are not having this issue, me included.
This information, however, is good to know if I fo develop this issue.
I did okay last winter with the stock Continentals, but am getting new A/T tires this Friday.
I'm getting the Falken WildPeak, A/T3W, 235/65/R17 from Discount Tires.
I agree with the sentiments of some here that Ford should've offered a more than one option for the interior colors. Orange accents and the blue color isn't everybody's cup of tea.
I had mixed feelings on the orange accents initially, but they actually kind of grew on me! At some point, I...
I have a dumb question for you:
I got the orange interior dial accents like you have. On the drive mode dial, did you have to take off the rubber outer grip ring on order to get the orange accent to be able to fit?
It just seems like I'll have to push down really hard to seat it.
Thanks!
I will never understand dealers doing crap like this! Making some extra money on a vehicle but losing a potential life-long customer! Dumb move by dealerships!
Being a shorter, lighter guy, I haven't had any issues with the front seat support.
Are their any types of seat support devices that could help with this?
Thank you! Yes I found one that looks similar to yours.
I really appreciate all the good people on this forum and the information you guys provide!
Thanks again!
