  1. Cloth seats vs. ActiveX seats feedback

This is from leatherseats.com I will say the leather is much more soft than the ActiveX seat - there is natural graining on the leather as well that you dont get with the pleather but the factory Lariat seats are durable I would say. The original and Leatherseats replacement
  2. volksnuts’ Lariat Maverick build

He' s making a tribute to the Subaru Brat - LOL
  3. Hybrid Constraint?

OK - so Ill play devils advocate - Why SHOULDNT companies order Mavericks ? - How do you know how long O'Reillys has been waiting ? Their orders are Fleet orders and are separate from consumer orders. While it is true Ford can only produce so many trucks per year ( and chooses to only make...

  5. extended warranty and after sales add on??

If you want an extended warranty search this forum - there were many discount options. At the time you are buying the truck your friendly "finance manager" is doing everything possible to extract as much money from your wallet as possible. 💴 They are not your "friend" they aren't "looking out...
  6. Food for thought

That's funny. The reason Ford does anything is "Profit". Profit is determined by bean counting. If Ford wanted to build more Maverick trucks they certainly could. They could add a third shift ....... well ....... by golly last year when they were thousands of orders behind ........ FYI by...
  7. Food for thought

hahahaha you are 100% correct GPS that was a joke and I agree on your percentage :)
  8. Food for thought

Im really not positive that you do. One main reason Ford came out with the Maverick Hybrid was tightening CAFE standards ( and probably to capture the huge flat tow market  ) Here are the increasing MPG that Ford must achieve for their FLEET - CAFE LIGHT TRUCK FUEL ECONOMY STANDARDS...
  9. Food for thought

I wonder if you will be so forgiving if after a year you get an email - thanks for waiting but no truck for you. You can place another order tho ......
  10. Food for thought

I can see you are new here so Ill enlighten you - the first year ford charged $1085 more for the ecoboost. They have advertised this as a hybrid STANDARD truck and 75% of the orders are for that drivetrain ( because it IS for the gas milage ) Ford is now only going to build 35% of orders as...
  11. Food for thought

Brilliant. Another - it isnt Ford's fault post. Lets see, Ford knew how many trucks it could build in a year. Ford in the first year had thousands of orders that were unfilled and allowed them to roll over. In the second year Ford did NOTHING to ensure that they didn't make the same mistake...
  12. Cheap DIY Daytime Running Lights $14.00 Pretty Impressive for The Price

The foolproof way to remove the cover is to partially remove the shield underneath so you can get you hand behind and push the tab on the light. after than you can put everything back since the cover will snap back in.
  13. Hybrid Constraint?

Hahahaha Ill take a bit more of a 40 thousand foot view. Why do folks give Ford ANY "benefit of the doubt' or defend them in ANY way ? The 2021 Ford Bronco ordering ? Dumpster fire. The 2022 Maverick - Dumpster fire - Ford lightning - Dumpster fire. Are we really to believe that a multi...
  14. TPMS sensors are model year specific?

Well I reckon the only way to really tell is to either call the parts department with your VIN number and see what part number they come up with or pull off a wheel and tire and look at the existing sensors. That definitely would be the foolproof way to do it.
  15. TPMS sensors are model year specific?

Well the photo that I posted was from a Ford parts department schematic.
  16. TPMS sensors are model year specific?

From what I can tell Ford used a 315MHZ TPMS until 05/05/2021 and after they went to a 433MHZ TPMS from that date forward.
  17. Hybrid Constraint?

100% - also the reason the XL is a constraint but you can order an XLT or Lariat and have a better shot at getting built - while you can say "supply chain" "covid" "excess demand" this is mostly bean counting by the accountants at Ford.
  18. Ford-backed Rivian EVs

Ford still owns 9.5 % of the stock = $86.9 million in RIVN shares
