Yes! I like how its low profile and not super expensive. It does the job. Lets me carry things in the back and not open to everyone to see. It's not perfectly secure cause you can kind of pull up the sides and look in but its nice.

Well, there aren't many hills in SD however I drive to and from Palm Springs a lot and go up and down the 74 a lot. The truck feels good, not weak when going up the mountain road and honestly, I drove it like my mustang lol felt good with sufficient power. -Sal

No it’s not that noise, I know what you're talking about. It’s a buzz like in the inside cabin as the truck is in the on position. Here is two videos, turn up the volume all the way up.

Thanks for the responses and comments guys! This is actually a cheapy amazon one, it worked fine but it barely stretched out to get the tie down points haha. This one is 4'x6', I may order the one size up 5'x7' to be able to stretch out more. BTW, I paid around $15 for it... seems to have gone...

Just saw this post. Hybrid XLT ordered. I ordered in June at La Mesa Penske Ford. Got mine in March after 8 months. I do think allocation system is probably what slowing it down, not sure how many vehicles they sell there.

How does it mount under the truck?

I did not order my truck with spare tire and I was thinking about buying a 'take off' XL steelie as spare tire. Has anyone added this? Also, will I be able too? i'm assuming there is just a hole for the tire there? Thanks

When I installed mine it was too tight and I couldn't close it. I realized that the rails weren't pushed up far enough to where the window is. Make sure you push it into the back of the truck and squish the foam a bit against that window. After I did this on both sides I was able to close it...

My switchbacks hyper flashed yesterday. Kind of sucks, I was just at a long intersection when it did it. Maybe 5-7 min I'm not sure. It was a warmer day here in CA so I guess that's why it did it. I still really like the way they look so I'll just live with it for a little until it pisses me...
