For me the math doesn't add up..~29K unscheduled retail orders. The last few months the factory has produced ~10K per month. How would they no be able to build at least more than half of the remaining MY23 orders?
I think what he meant was with approx. 29k remaining orders for hybrid between what they can get done before the end of MY23 and the rest having to roll to MY24 they may hold taking more orders until they can get closer to "caught up" on hybrid orders. I'm just spitballing though.
If I were to drop down to an XLT for my 24 order would i lose my incentive / price protection? The big price hike on the Lariat might price me out of it and need to drop down to an XLT to save some of that cost.
Tim, so I currently have a 23 Lariat (unscheduled) with lux, hybrid. While ordering a 24 is it has the exact same set up (hybrid and lux is now standard) will my price be close to the same as agreed upon on my 23, not 4-6k more?
Unfortunately for me and possibly you, my dealership is great and honest, I just don't think they get the allocations to be able to get any of their orders built. I know of the 9 orders mine have left at least 2 if not all are hybrids, mine and a friend of mine that ordered hybrids the same day...
Ordered from a local small town dealer. Talked to the person that places orders today and he told me they had 11 orders placed at his dealership and so far he's had 2 XLs delivered all year so there are 9 orders left but unfortunately I'm not hopeful any of his other 9 will be scheduled..
