One thing I take solice in as an above poster said as long as I'm not seeing a flood of people getting emails it at least gives me hope (probably false) that my email could still happen this go around.
Yes not currently but it has been teetering or right on. I know most people like me added it last year which is why they just added it back in vs an option just still a tight item.
The part that kills me about the tow hitch is it was constrained all last year as an option and they added it as in the auto package on a couple of the trims lilke the Lariat
It's just ford chats way to blow sunshine up your rear in hopes to keep you on the hook. That's just the generic response everyone gets unless they actually get scheduled.
Question I have, placed my order 09/16/22, all of last year I recieved the 45 day "sorry about ya" email. When I carried over to a 24, I have recieved only 1 45 day email since placing my roll over order when order banks opened and I recieved the initial order email from ford also, so I know...
People in these UAW threads always show they've either never been a part of a union or don't know anyone who has. Yes they will make less than their weekly pay by picketing but any responsible union worker has been saving up for the strike possibility. The strike didn't just sneak up on them...
Just to get the disappointment over with rather than waiting for an email that isn't coming today, chatted with ford to confirm, not scheduled. Congrats to those that did. Seeing all the Lariat Hybrids I was hoping, but not today (no suprise)
He also didn't say only new orders were scheduled. On the thread on this site alone there were several that were new orders so his statement isn't wrong. Ford lead people to believe that 23 rollovers would be before any new 24s and today was proof that it wasn't totally true.
Allocations are BS...there I said it. So to be able to get a Maverick in a timely manner in my situation I have to travel several hours just to get to a dealership with lots of allocations vs being able to buy from my local small dealer that is great to work with near by. Where I live they sell...
I would have said ok, I'll take yours, Finish the sale, wait a when the first bill came went where I wanted to go and refinance. Nothing they can do to you then.
If your dealer put all rollovers in as 19 does that matter as it is only within your dealership and Ford will move them all down to 2s or should I see if he can move it down to at least a 10?
