Best I could think of is a bit of extra paracord under the back seat.
I mostly agree that the FITS accessories are generally not the most useful. I'll probably keep the trash bin installed on the console for a bit of extra "toss in/out" storage.
Frankly, I think the biggest issue with FITS...
IIRC (I might be wrong), the 25K produced in 2021 is more than (or at least equal to) what they had expected to produce, so as long as their ramp-up in 2022 goes as planned they should be fine.
I should also note that the one thing I had potential concerns about before driving the Maverick was how the resistance added by the regen might cause issues on the ice. I haven't experienced any issues yet. I wasn't in eco mode when I drove in the icy conditions since it adds resistance/regen...
About 200 miles in the first week, and I have nothing to complain about. It's been great so far and definitely worth the wait/investment.
Regarding icy conditions. On NYE we were at a friend's place about 30 minutes out in the boonies. Pretty slick roads coming back because there were snow...
Yeah. Not too bad. Not really noticeable unless you're looking for it. I'm wondering if Ford had to make it a little long to make the geometry work for half up 4x8 hauling configuration.
Nice!
I don't even know what you're nitpicking. You're seriously trying to play gotcha because I used the word "cost." JFC.
You most certainly don't get it. Not sure how else I can explain it.
You can do whatever you want, but at no point have I said you should do this. I budget discretionary...
If you're used to FWD cars, the Maverick hybrid will be great. I find it's considerably better than my previous FWD cars. Very stable and pretty great traction. I even had it tromping off road through a foot of snow to load some firewood, and it worked fine.
Nope. If I hadn't digitized and got rid of all my CDs years ago, it'd take this as the opportunity to do that and then just roll with a few USB drives.
I'm not mixing anything. Purchase cost is part of TCO, not a separate classification. No one was talking explicitly about the purchase cost, the comment was how much you're "saving" by not getting 360. It's not accurate to say "wow I get this great feature for 10 years" (value) for just $540...
Yes, if you're only looking at the cost, you should never buy anything ever. That's why I made the point to compare those costs to the value gained. As I said it in another thread on this topic, assessing the time-value of money is pretty standard for assessing the costs associated with a...
In the cold weather, I keep mine at 60°F mostly. I hate temperature deltas in the winter. If I'm layered for 20°F or colder, last thing I want to do is start sweating when I drive.
Along with not being able to touch the money for 13 moths, I-bonds also come with a penalty if you withdraw within the first 5 years. The penalty is losing the last three month of interest earned, which could be very minimal depending on rates/amount invested, but could also be significant if...
It's a little down at the end (maybe an inch- see the green line). The base of the tailgate is equal/provides support (see red arrow).
Sorry for the bad pic. No light/contrast (and a lath strip is the only straightish/long thing I had nearby).
I guess I don't have "beef" with anyone based on options they choose or how they choose them.
I'd never say don't get 360 if you want it, but I also look at value/cost. For me, that means calculating what I get and how I'll use it by the cost of 10 years of assumed ownership. 10 years is...
