Mabett makes a piece that protects the ribbed portion of the plastic. At the same time, Most of those protectors that can fit on the metal also fit on the plastic too. Its mostly just a tape that you can apply.

the lights themselves wont hyperflash, Just the internal indicators. What you can do is use forscan to disable the hyperflash indicators. Its really only for the rear lights too. I've not heard the front bulbs causing the hyperflash indicator to go off.
I'll be swapping in an H5 tomorrow. Considered going optima for the slightly extra capacity but weize was like 1/3 the price. Never messed with agm batteries so not sure about the whole tube part that connects to the battery.

The clunking was only the first generation of springs. They fixed it by the time I got mine. I dont have the adjustable camber bolts on mine. It has a slight angle but its not noticeable.
