If you bought your truck from Ford directly, you can use the Ford Points from the truck purchase to get the oem soft cover for around $150. It’s fine. Not great, but fine.

That 3-4 billion is taking infrastructure costs and applying them as a loss per vehicle. They are real losses, but I don’t like applying them like that as they are infrastructure investments, and applying them to the revenue of a vehicle is silly. Per EV only, Ford makes a profit.

If your climate it’s set to Auto, the Maverick will do whatever it has to to hit that temperature. Out will turn on the engine if it must.

Some poeple view the Maverick as nothing but a cheap Ford truck, something you get if you cant get a larger one. Others view it as the perfect sized vehicle, and would happy to spend $50k+ on it if it offered enough for that kind of money. I fall in the latter camp, but I know many are the former.

Mine was ordered 8/01. Had a scheduled date of 1/06. Went into production on 12/19. Still in production as of today. Modules popped around a week ago. 4k Lariat Hybrid. 🤷‍♂️

I care about ice and rain only personally, do not plan to be hitting large trenches. The first 3 tests made me feel pretty good about it for those situations.

Maverick HAS been scheduled. No email, but it shows up in Ford Chat and they could give me a VIN. 1/06/25 production date.

So with a August 1st order that has yet to be scheduled, does this mean if I get nothing this week that means it will be at least February until my truck is built?

Didn’t mind the first few weeks but definitely starting to get upset my August 1 order of a Lariat is not scheduled yet.
