2023 hybrid xlt:
I am switching work locations for the winter and I'm planning to leave the car in the driveway for about six months.
My plan was to remove the battery from under the rear bench and connect it to my battery tender to maintain the charge
I was planning on driving until the fuel...
very nice, assuming you can still fold up the seat. do you have a sound file? the car already has good bass from the factory even with a basic audio setup for the xlt
Zero problems. Tires wore more in the front than rear, so I rotated them.
No rattling, no lights coming on in the cluster, no electrical gremlins, nothing.
I guess I've been lucky so far with this truck, but I don't believe the build quality is high, so unless I drive it on a regular basis...
You can use a spray can of VHT Nightshades to black out those corner lights and retain the factory parts. They will eventually fade, but one can will last you the entire life of the car
These are great looking wheels, which remind me of Ronal 'Turbo' wheels from the 80's, which guys used to put on their VW Golf or e30 BMW or 190e MBZ's. Where can I find a set and what is the offset and hub bore as compared to factory Maverick wheels? Any rubbing on the suspension with this...
First few oil changes, recommended factory weight/type oil from Mobil 1
4th oil change, switched to 5w30, had a third of a quart remaining
last oil change, bought a 5 quart jug of factory recommended weight/type Mobil 1, mixed in the remaining 5w30 and the last 1/3 of a quart i put in some 0w40...
Mine's a 2023 XLT, and I would like to try and find a hot pepper red painted lobo rear bumper to swap onto the truck
Would like to know if the inner bumper geometry, mounting points and overall shape are the same for 2023 and 2025 lobo rear bumpers
Do we know of anyone who has tried this?
thank you
POR-15 high temp caliper paint costs $20, caliper decals cheap on etsy. did this for many a mercedes amg brake caliper upgrade, didn't like the factory ATE gold paint
very good to know. I do have the factory trailer hitch. the question still stands if anyone happens to know, especially given this additional knowledge of the reduction in size due to the hitch.
Gents, I will be on a trip for one week and the car will be at a hotel underground parking lot. The ambient temp will be in the 20s.
All previous trips have been during minimum 40 degree temps, and maximum 4 days gone.
The car is routinely driven 30 miles a day during the week, 10 per day on...
it's incorporated into the drain bolt. you can buy just the rubber part rather than the entire bolt if you want to replace it. most people didn't have to even after 5+ oil changes.
if you want it to run, press the accelerator pedal to the ground to fire up the ice
