I will never pay a premium over MSRP for a car. Over the years there have been a few times where dealers pulled that crap so I just went elsewhere or waited until the market re-gained it's sanity. Any dealer that played that game was dropped from my 'where to buy' list from then on...

I agree with your theory. In 1965 I bought a new VW Beetle ($1800). After that, it seemed like every 100 cars I saw was a Beetle. Up until then I may have seen 5 in a year.

The only advantage to a single row cab I can think of is the interior heat/AC can be faster to reach temp!
