Unfortunately my first road trip was to Dallas to attend my uncles funeral, it was a really happy service though, I met cousins I didn't even know I had. The truck handled beautifully in the Dallas rush hour traffic and the drive to Dallas and back home. It even got to go to a bucee's twice. I...
Yeah, that sounds like a lot, I really don't like the look of the factory light but I 100% would crease the headliner trying to get it down. I guess I will just tint it instead and when I get around to replacing the rear speakers in a year or so I will install the other brake light.
Maybe when...
Door speakers you can 100% do yourself, it is literally five bolts, three screws, unplug the old speaker, plug in the new one, and put it all back together. If you don't feel comfortable stripping and splicing wires, and slight electrical work then I would suggest you pay someone to replace the...
There are several on this site, that is what I used to do my swap and theirs have pictures and step by step instructions which mine wouldn't have since I am done with the project already.
God, there really is no reaching it without pulling the headliner down. I know the two clips on either side of the third brake light but where are the others located to get it pulled down enough? I gently tried to pry around the edges and couldn't find the exact locations, I didn't want to pull...
I just had my front door speakers and tweeters replaced, it was a night and day difference . There are lots of articles here about replacing the speakers. It was totally worth the $120 it cost me.
I also bought a third brake light replacement kit but couldn't get the cable to pull out enough to replace it, I didnt want to break anything and I definitely don't want to drop the headliner as I suspect I would never be able to get it back up the way it was before. Maybe I will tint it.
My thoughts:
1. Weird, my usb and 12v ports on my truck are reversed compared to yours, must be something with the push start.
2. Oh I never thought to black out the marker lights, it looks really good
3. I've been on the fence about the roof spoiler, I think it looks good and I'm going to...
Check your fuses, both in the cabin and under the hood. My dad had a crown vic back that he would tow a boat with, one day the transmission went out on it, with symptoms that sound similar to this, it turned out it just blew a fuse. Once they replaced that it worked fine again until he sold it.
So, I have an interesting perspective on this, this past weekend I hardwired a dash cam into my truck and while i was installing that I decided to change the door speakers out. Well, I get mostly done with the passenger door, sound deadening added and by this point it was nearly 100 degrees...
I have the usb a and c in the front under the stereo and the same at the rear of the console for people in the back to use. The ones in the from will work with the head unit but the ones in the rear are for charging only
Interesting, I was impressed when I got my mav a few weeks back and it had blind spot mirrors built in. I figured it was something I got with the lux package but I'm guessing its standard with all of those without CO360?
So far I've done/started the following:
1. Bought a K&N air filter, noticed a very slight performance increase, mostly when gassing from a complete stop
2. Window tint, done at the dealer, it looked good enough that I didn't replace it.
3. Bought a replacement third brake light that is LED and...
