DORA is the preview order that lists the order info and prices of the options and priority of the order. If they didn't forget to verify via COVP/ROVP with ford and didn't submit order as a stock order they may just be trying to get a vehicle for the lot to sell at markup.
Dealer may have never completed the ROVP/COVP process but they should have figured out it wouldn't be built awhile ago. When you ordered did you have your ID copied and did you sign a buyers order or the DORA?
It fine having extra cleaners for the pumps and injectors but keep in mine without a port injector fuel can't clean the top of the valves which is where it's really needed on these engines.
If you plan on keeping it 10 years make sure you are doing aggressive oil changes with full synthetic or you will be due for induction cleaning before 10 years. They are only direct injection and don't have a port injector to help clean the valves like some of the redesigned ecoboost engines.
If it came to that your dealer would have to covert your order to a 23 basically remove features not in 23 model year if any and resubmit. They have had to do this with many vehicles due to commodity shortages.
Ford should be able to build a replacement for it but it will have to fit into scheduling and with the chip holds on many now it may be many months from now before it come in
I ordered them from their website and didn't find any working promo code when I ordered. I selected the free shipping they actually shipped them FedEx 2 day though.
Lower left corner under the dash on driver's side it's not behind a cover just tucked up at bottom of the plastic basically where it is circled above. It's not obvious unless you are trying to find it.
That's not the only cause on the driver side the inner fender doesn't really cover the rear of the wheel well they have it cut away I'm guessing to avoid the exhaust. It immediately gets wheel spray into that area. The passenger side doesn't really have the issue since it's covered behind the tire.
I also only have ford insure under the security tab don't know if I dare talk to fordpass support they just managed to get mine to actually load data. Also their normal go to is to blame the device or version I ran the app on 3 different devices in testing when nothing on vehicle page worked.
I installed mine this weekend need to wash the truck though because I can't really tell what is new and what was already there. I know I haven't heard any rocks ping off metal since putting them on which is good because the wildpeaks like picking up small rocks.
Another word of warning to people saying they want to run them near max pressure realize pressures go up as the tire warms up. I can tell you with the Falken tires even in below freezing temps after a few miles they increase pressure 3-4psi so if it was already warm out and you were really...
Build and price site is useless as far as seeing what is or isn't available. It still allows you to spec out a first edition hybrid both of which have been done for months.
United Road seems to throw darts when selecting what to haul. When mine got hauled up it along with some Escapes and a Mach e had only been at the yard for a day, but a Bronco and a few other vehicles had already been there over a week and got skipped over.
Around here I've only seen a single Santa Cruz on the road and the Hyundai dealers have them sitting on the lot. Just be aware even if you grab one at MSRP you will take a loss especially after taxes if you get rid of it for the Maverick.
Anyone else having issues with some of Fordpass not working. Since activating my vehicle the first page works fine start, lock and unlock all work, but the Vehicle page doesn't show Oil life or Tire Pressure and the fuel and milage section is missing. So far Fordpass support hasn't been helpful...
