Truck looks great other than them butt ass ugly wheels, that would be the first thing I'd replace once I took it home.
Reminds me as a kid watching Knight Rider and the fugly wheels on the firebird Kit
I replaced the dash tweeters & front door speakers with a component set as well as the rear pillar speakers with two-way 4-in and I also added a separate 10-in sub under the rear seat on a mono amp.
I've not experienced any audio cut out whatsoever, but my speakers are running off the stock head...
Mine are all pretty boring it's usually just me cussing at the idiots on the road doing the same shit cutting you off or not paying attention driving 10 under in the fast lane.
I'll take pretty boring any day though.
Yeah out of all the vehicles I've ever owned the Maverick has took the most rock chips in the shortest amount of time.
Apparently it sets just at the right height.
I've own numerous full size Chevy and Ford trucks other compacts S10, midsize Hummer h3, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevy equinox, Ford...
Yeah not really much different than when Ford's premium sound system in their vehicles were Sony. More marketing than anything.
The only upgrade of the so-called premium system is you get a subwoofer just doesn't mean it's a good one.
No they are not. They almost look identical, The only real difference may be the frequency cut offs set by Ford and maybe a little more power. And they throw in a 6x9 paper cone woofer with a foam surround in the rear passenger side baffle behind the seat.
It absolutely is about upgrading the sound quality. I mean if just seeing the oem speakers with paper drivers, foam surrounds and the tiny magnets for motors doesn't tell yah these aren't quality components, nothing will.
Sadly the B&O speakers don't look much different.
