I didn't see anything in the search for receiver hitch carriers. Has anyone used one of these hitch carrying devises. I have some cargo I would like to haul that is about 270 lbs. worth. I would be getting one with a drop downside to load the item.
Just wondering about truck driving ability...

After reading through many threads on this subject here I haven't found a clear answer for my question.
What I would like to know if I can use a 4000 Power Inverter that plugs into the round power source in the front center council of cab?
I would really appreciate that!! I did forget to mention I do know of the Acc. options from Ford. I really didn't want to spend that much a set of rails. I was looking for any other options. It won't be used for anything heavy so just need if for fishing poles and longer objects like that...
After doing the search here just can't find the answer or link to purchase two racks that will attach from door to door type roof rails.
Any help on finding what I'm looking for will be very much appreciated.

What I like you can lock or unlock truck from anyplace. I was at the ranch which is 20 plus miles away and she could lock and unlock my XL.
I can say we have an escape and if you leave fob inside it will lock now.
So, I have about 100 miles on my truck and the MPG says 34.2 mpg. So, how do I trip that mpg number and start over for the next trip? Or do must just keep it running and than does it just average out for the tank of gas you are on.
Please explain how it works with the recording of MPG...
OHHH that is too bad. Congratulations!!!
I do agree on How this truck stands up to the task. I live in very rural Montana area, and I also will be using it for small tasks around the ranch. The roads are hilly and rough so I hoping for the best.
I picked it up Friday and I love it so far. I will take a picture of this next week and post.
Thaks for all the help and encouragement along the way from order to receiving the truck.
Pickup mine up today. 37 MPG and was a joy to drive. I sure it stands up to this rough country I live in. I have the same truck as OP except the tailgate lock option.
