Yes, I have that happen from time to time. It logs the miles and information correctly in trip 1 and trip 2, just not this trip information. Just seems to be a software bug/feature.
Another odd, off-the-wall option would be when auto is off, then the controls are actually in manual control lol. But, it appears the HVAC controls are always on auto, even when auto is off. Nothing like having 0F air blowing in my face and on my hands after I had purposely turned the fan off. I...
In my mind ... our cars are our transportation, nothing more. As a result, my wife drives the Maverick just as much as I do, despite being "my" car, and enjoys driving it. Heck, part of the reason I got it was because of her. We have 3 boys and they do lots of outdoor adventures. The Maverick...
HA! I was a .000 hitter. I sucked (but my parents and especially my dad loved it as he often volunteered to be assistant coach and later ump), and embarrassingly I was often put up high in the lineup, but because I was short and walked a lot. I hated little league and remember one game where I...
I'll do the opposite of this. I got a solid 14.8 mpg driving my 2 miles to work today (I usually bike in to work though since I'm so close), but it was -2F! I have one 15 mile drive where I've observed in the summer I get about 55 mpg, when it's 30s/40s I get about 40 mpg, and when it's teens...
This is likely why every once in awhile (I'd say it's happened about 4 times in the year I've owned it) I get a "Shift system fault" and "Transmission not in Park" message. From the NHTSA notice .... though I got no wrench light:
"Identification of any warning that can occur: If the binding...
It did happen again to my wife at the gas station today and was stuck at the pump. It seems the truck gets is signals scrambled and cannot communicate with the key properly. Leaving the truck and going into the food mart seems to help reset it. A frustrating bug when it occurs.
Are you hoping for more than $2725 off before taxes/fees (i.e., does $33k sound too high to you)? Or is is the taxes/fees that seem too high, because you'll pay those 25 or 26 (at least at this dealer).
You could wittle down some fees since the blue security plus is a junk fee. The closing fee...
Oh ... Oops, didn't consider the 2.0, my mistake. Then I agree ... it seems too often that maintenance ease doesn't seem to be taken into consideration when it should.
I curious, what were the huge braking & handling faults?
When shopping for the Maverick, I very strongly considered the current generation Rav4. What stopped me in my tracks was cable gate in the hybrid (HV cable to the rear electric motor corroding, which bricked the whole vehicle and Toyota...
Not for the 2025 the OP has. For 2025, the online manual does not reference this chart. There is no such chart and no references to such charts. Ford changed it to say trust the oil life monitor, with the only mileage caveat if you live in sub-suharan/Middle East like conditions.
As the manual...
As I stated, it's changed for the 2025 models. This page does not exist in the 2025 manual. I posted the link to the 2025 manual and copied and pasted what's in it. The OP has a 2025.
Not to be persnickety, but the manual actually says hybrids can go longer than 10,000 miles, but not 1 year. Here's the direct copy and paste from the manual:
"Do not exceed one year or 10,000 mi (16,000 km) between service intervals. Hybrid vehicles may achieve longer distances between oil...
