Hey yall, Just wanted to let you know that I have taken my Maverick (xlt ecoboost, NOT awd) to the dealership after it was randomly shutting off on me when making a full stop. The truck shuts off abruptly (not at all like the way it shuts down with the auto start/stop) throws up the message...

So are you selling it? Or did you post in the wrong part of the forum?

You can only use ATT. I did the trial, but then let it lapse because it was spotty in my rural area.

Mind showing us where you installed them? I think im going to buy some of these to fix my hood flutter. You are the only one that has reported having successfully solved the problem. But I also noticed your Mav (at least in your profile pic) doesnt have the hood deflector. Is that correct?

So I went and finally caught up through the forums to see what people reported on this issue... because last time I checked I had not seen anything conclusive as to how to solve this problem. The majority of "fixes" that I have seen on this forum are more suggestions, some are also...

Go test it out and see if you get hood flutter. In my case, I had never experienced any until I put that same hood deflector on. Happens at 60-70+ mph. Still thinking about taking it off and just going with the clear film they sell. Edit - It looks great by the way! I still love how it looks...

I found another design flaw... if you leave stuff in the back, dont close the tailgate, and drive away, your things may roll out.

Its been reported before, and I can attest to it too, that even without the perimeter stuff (I have a basic xlt) there are all sorts of clicks that happen upon turning off the truck, or as some said, when you walk up to it after a while. I think around here they explain it as relays. See this...
