Not terribly long. A CD-ripping program (I'm using Express Rip CD Ripper on a PC) can typically convert all the tracks on an average CD in 30-60 minutes. (Using a faster USB 3.0 port to connect the player or probably faster, a computer with a built-in CD drive could be faster still). To test...
A follow-up to my previous post. I tried the portable CD player I had for use with my computer, plugged it into the USB port in the Maverick, and while it powered it, nothing else appeared on the Maverick screen. I'm thinking I'd need a different kind of CD player. No matter though... I think...
I am cleaning out a storage unit and found my old collection of CDs and cassette tapes. I know how to rip CDs to MP3, but also have a small CD device that uses a USB connector I will need to try. I could also record the cassettes, (in real time unfortunately) to . Mp3 format with Audacity. I...
I'd really not want to have to drill any holes in the truck. These holes seem perfectly positioned for how I'd like to use them so as long as they don't drain into some interior panel, I just as soon stick with them.
I installed my undercover ultraflex tonneau cover without too much difficulty. I used the holes in each side at the front of the bed to run the drain tubes. I'm not sure however where these hole s lead to and if this is an appropriate spot to let water drain into. Does anyone know for sure?
A shout-out to RealTruck from whom I bought an Undercover Ultraflex hard trifold tonneau cover. They also gave me a nice discount as a Maverick Truck Club forum member. I was blown away when the day after I ordered it, it arrived! One day shipping from their Salt Lake City warehouse to Boise...
I got it! Kendall Ford of Meridian, Idaho was exceptionally great to work with and in particular my internet sales guy, Mike Parr. Nobody likes to wait 19+ months for an ordered vehicle, but these are unusual times. Fortunately, I actually made money on this deal, got to drive a '22 Maverick...
I have never seen a vehicle where the wipers were close to the hood edge like this. There is also a huge "hole" created by the gap at the back of the hood that collects snow. What is the reason for this odd design?
Tomorrow... Tomorrow... I love ya, Tomorrow
You're only a Day Away!
Finally!!! Tomorrow (5/28/23) is the day I get my baby! a 19-month, (589 Day) wait. Here's the saga:
- Oct. 16, 2021 - Ordered a '22 Cactus Gray XL Hybrid
- Oct. 25, 2022 - Rolled over the order to a '23 Cactus Gray Hybrid...
The 2023 XLT Hybrid I ordered way back in October of 2021 is enroute finally with an ETA of early June. (Read the saga in my signature). While waiting, I found and bought a 2022 XL Hybrid last October. When the new truck arrives, I'm planning to sell the '22. So here's the question... I was...
You'll see from my signature how long I've been waiting, first for a '22 XL Hybrid ordered in October of 2021, then changed to a '23 XLT Hybrid when the rollover became necessary. I finally got a VIN and a scheduled date a few weeks ago. Scheduled for build the week of May 10. Fingers crossed...
