https://www.ksl.com/article/51271950/test-drive-the-2025-ford-maverick-hybrid-is-a-game-changer Nice review that highlights the 2025 AWD Hybrids new set standard and praises the Lariats accomplishments.
  2. Delivery timeframe

I'm worried about the tariffs as well, but unlike you all our Lariat isn't even in production yet. Ordered late January. I'm hoping Ford had some umbrella protection from the USMCA agreement... sigh
  3. Suggestions to fix a chip in the paint

The REAL trick to touch up is i use a very fine straight brush that holds less than one tiny drop of paint, do ONE LAYER at a time, and let it dry in between layers. You will be building up the paint slowly until it is level when dry. If you just put one thick layer it will take longer to...
  4. Rough Country Tri-fold Tonneau is a winner

Wondering how well it keeps the dust out? Dirt roads and dust is so invasive...
  5. Ordered a 25' Lariat Hybrid , Having second thoughts ...

We have the 24 XLT Hybrid. Absolutely love it. Has plenty of pep and power for any situation. Ours was rated to get 33mpg but we are averaging 44 mpg. Best of all worlds, will not go back.
  6. 2024 Maverick Scheduling This Week (3/28/24) for Production Weeks 4/29 - 5/27

No... 2025 order for Lariat. Ordered un January. Just bemoaning that they don't even give an estimate of when it will be in production
  7. 2024 Maverick Scheduling This Week (3/28/24) for Production Weeks 4/29 - 5/27

The waiting for an email that says you are in production... There is nothing between your first order confirmation email and the production email... we are left in limbo with no information, no que status, just nothing. Sigh.... still waiting... yup still waiting
  8. 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD Fuel Economy

Your foot will also determine your MPG. Heavy footed, rapid acceleration or quick hill accents will all increase ICE engine usage and decrease fuel economy. Combine that with cold weather and you will have terrible MPG readings.
  9. First oil change question

THIS!!!! All ICE engines, including hybrids, should have oil change during break in period.
  10. Skid plate, tires or lift?

Question about the Flatout System... will this help from getting the CV joint problems? Or is it still an issue? This is the first time I have heard of the Flatout Suspension. I see that is currently in development for the 2025 AWD Hybrid.
  11. Future Mavericks - I am optimistic

When Henry Ford started, black was THE color. The only color!! 😂 🤣
  12. Best Mileage on 2024 Maverick XLT = 158.0 MPG

Curious how to see this... We only see the display after turning off the vehicle. And the one available by using the OK push selector show what it is overall. Can you post how to view the "live" instantaneous you mentioned please
  13. Build Date Confirmed

Gives us some hope that ours is closer. We got out order confirmation on January 29th. Nothing since then Sigh... patiently waiting
  14. Best Mileage on 2024 Maverick XLT = 158.0 MPG

I know this mileage is the result of a downhill drive, but I couldn’t resist sharing this screenshot showing a staggering 158.0 mpg! I've come across posts (unfortunately, can't find them at the moment) discussing the elusive "magic 99.9" mpg. Well, here’s proof that you can indeed surpass...
  15. Using a USB Hub on the front USB port on the 2025 Maverick hybrid

On our 24 XLT we installed Siriusxm and it uses the USB port at the front. We found that only the two in the front communicate with the system. The back ones are strictly for charging or power.
  16. Will a 2024 Fold Up Topper Fit on a New 2025 Lariat

Currently we have a 2024 XLT that we installed a fold up lid topper on the bed. We have a 2025 Lariat ordered. Will our current topper fit correctly on the new Maverick?
  17. Maverick value increase, how does insurance handle that?

Good point on Start versus Agreed... Yes, Grundy will bundle your classics, daily drivers, motorcycles, motorhome or RV. AND your home. AND do it for less than Hagerty!!! Tip... find an agent instead of dealing directly with Grundy Office.
  18. Maverick value increase, how does insurance handle that?

We have Grundy insurance with an Agreed Value. Vehicle is totalled, you know exactly what they give you.
