Fog Lites are a must have in my area during the winter, I am monitoring the Ford site and this wonderful site for updates. The front fascia is slotted for them so fingers crossed they will be optioned as LEDās . Thanks for the input from so many on the fine tuning of the new pickup.

Update -
Car karma just happened to us. We were in stop and go traffic and WHAM - Honda Accord submarined under the rear of our Toyota Highlander bumper. Thankfully no one hurt just the ego of the inattentive Honda driver.
My body shop guy said it did exactly what it was designed to do...
I agree and I am with you on the after market ( hopefully) providing a nice solid steel bumper for the rear as I feel that is what it deserves and needs....
Thanks -
Perhaps on a video, someone can just knock on the rear bumper so we can hear and see what itās made of. Just a thought.....
Several videos show the bumper somewhat close but make no move toward feeling the texture etc.
I have watched various Maverick videos and the Ford statements and publications but I still have one unanswered question. Is the rear bumper steel or a plastic type material?
if we order the tow package or order a trailer hitch, does that provide for a steel bumper?
Ford made a point of noting...
Key words..... ā needing a step ladder to reach anything in the bedā. Amen to that!
My last truck 2003 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton ...... full size but useful bed height. Not anymore as you mentioned....
Fun hauler that is relatively inexpensive to purchase and operate as retired folks. Every family should have access to a pickup and for many of us a small bed is all that is needed for daily tasks and store/shop runs.... if I need bigger I can use my old GMC Sierra that I grudgingly sold to a...
Thanks for the walk around and your input..... many cool features at this price point. The bumpers you noted and discussed but didnāt mention if the rear you pointed out - is it metal/steel or as it appears black plastic? My guess from the texture it must be plastic.
It looks like you checked...
For our needs this may fit the bill. My history with pickups starts early age 14 with a ā31 Model A Ford pickup. The box was 4 ā or so, kinda reminds me of the Maverick pictures Iāve seen. Numerous 48 to 55 Chevrolet and GMC trucks all good rigs as it was tough to kill them just look at how many...
Correct information on the updated Fusion. Whole I was still working (retiredš now), my employer had a good mix of Toyota Camry Hybrids and the Ford Fusion Hybrid. Smoking fast in the Fords and they seem to handle quite a bit of the guys with the mindset.... āitās not my car, so whatā as they...
I agree. I also think that they should have gone to a 60/40 split back seat as it is very useful when you are carrying items on one side of the rear area and still have room for a passenger and or a good ole pup. The 60/40 seat holds true for both upper and lower parts. Of note, even the little...
Nice interior view and a good realistic approach to what Ford is attempting to do here with the pickup. Looks like the Maverick will fit the needs of many folks that want to haul Items that are not going to fit in your sedan or SUV..... smart move by an established firm. For many this will be...
